Chapter 34: Got to catch em all

(August 26, 21xx) [Kanto airport]

It's been two years since the maverick hunters started anew and now I'm accompanying Dr. Cain to go to Kanto. The island is filled with extraordinary creatures called Pokemon. They called me to be a bodyguard till we come back to Abel city. We have a Pokemon professor waiting for us to show us around as we just landed. We get out of the plane to greet them. "Hello, professor Oak it's a pleasure to meet you." Dr. Cain said. Professor Oak replies "You too Dr. Cain I've heard lots about you. Is this the maverick hunter watching over you?" professor gestures toward me. "Yes. X is also the one that defeated Sigma so we are in the safest hands right now. So what can you tell us about these Pokemon." Professor Oak says "Ok then. Let me introduce you to the wonderful world of Pokemon..."

While we were experiencing the tour we learned much about Pokemon, what they can do, how many types, and species there are, and what powers they can possess.

[Lavender town]
I am at lavender town waiting patiently for the others to leave the Pokemon cemetery looking around me... { "Help...me" } I look around me again to search for the source of the plea but I see nobody... { "Help.....me } I hear it again but still nothing but I feel something or someone pulling me towards the Pokemon rescue Center I follow this presence pulling me towards them and I see memories of a little green-haired girl that I never met. I go inside the house but I don't see anyone around and I still feel like someone is there I go towards a hallway towards the wall to discover that it is a hidden door! I open the door to discover a light grey bipedal Pokemon with a green tail on its head in a hospital bed on life support. The voice must be hers and so to her memories as a human. "What did they do to you!" I whispered I sit on a chair and hold their hand to feel that it is still warm but their vitals are weak. I close my eyes overwhelmed by both the memories of her past as a human and the emotions of seeing what she had become but most importantly I feel this power from within me coming out to my hands flowing into her body until... "Hey! What are you doing here! How did you discover this room!" I look behind me to see an old bald man in the doorway angry I stutter a response "I...I..." The man responds "You must be from team rocket! I won't let you take my daughter again!" I quickly say "N...no I'm not! I'm from Cain labs...i" I was cut off by a younger voice from behind me "D...daddy?" we both look at her but one of us immediately hugged her and said "OH MY... Amber...my baby...you're awake...but how that..." The old man then look up at me and said "You did this, didn't you! How did you?... never mind... Thank you. Amber you alright... Are you hungry?" Amber rub her eyes and responds. "Yeah... I'm hungry...? What... What happened to me!" she looks at her hands to see her green fingers and grey small body her father answers "Amber there are so many things that I have to tell you." I interrupted "I'll give her food. After that, you tell us what happened to her." he nods and I race off to give her the necessary amount of food that she needs... Which I think is a lot.

I came by with a bucket full of food and to her father's surprise, she ate the entire supply. I now remind him "Alright can you tell us what happened to Amber." he sighs and says "Yes... It all started when Amber was in an accident that nearly took her life... The hospital couldn't save her but I thought that I could by cloning her into a new body. I didn't have the funds so I went to team rocket to help me save her but they wanted something in return. But I didn't know that he lied to me and...anyway They wanted me to clone the mythical Pokemon mew and alter it to be the strongest psychic Pokemon in existence. So I went along and got to south America since it had reports that mew lived in it. We found mew but we were surprised that it gave birth to twins..." Amber interrupted us by cooing "Awww..." Her father looked at her apologetically then continued. "We then were ordered to take both of the twins and experiment on them so we could..." Amber interrupted us again by saying "Oh no that's horrible why did you..." I interrupted her and said "Let your father finish the story. He has the whole picture of events." she responded. "Ok!" then her father continues again. "As I said we took the twins to experiment on them and transform them into what we called Mewtwo..." Amber interrupted again "Ohh I know Mewtwo we meet in my dream... I didn't know they were real!" her father responds "Yes you did we were monitoring your brain waves but that was also the day that...team rocket faked your death so they could experiment on you to also become a Mewtwo as well but they also... Anyway, I'm getting off track. After they faked your death I left the Mewtwo project by faking my death as well. But after a come back to Kanto I met with a young Pokemon trainer named red. That is how I found out that you're still alive. So I and red stormed the facility that kept you and after I saw what they turned you into... Let's just say that I didn't take it well. They didn't just turn you into a Mewtwo they permanently mega-evolved you into this..." I interrupted this time. "What is mega evolution?" he answers "It is meant to be a temporary transformation that gives Pokemon a new form, makes it stronger, and sometimes a new typing, typically a regular transformation requires two mega stones, one a keystone meant to be held by a trainer to activate the transformation and the other is the main mega stone that transforms the Pokemon itself. But somehow they didn't just give one of the Mewtwo the ability to transform on its own but they had to make my daughter into one! They found a way to make it permanent. But the permanent transformation had very deep consequences for her... I thought I'd never see her wake up... I'd thought I was going to lose her again... Until you showed up. I have a question... How...Why did you help her?" I look at the heartbeat monitor and I saw that Amber's heart is now fine and the more I see her the more healthy she becomes but...but what if she gets worse what if she can't open her eyes again... I respond "I... Heard her calling me with telepathy...that's how I found her. and I didn't do anything to her while I was with her she probably got healthy on her own...but..." I realized how late it is and that means that I need to get back to the tour. I quickly say "unfortunately I need to go...but I won't tell anyone about Amber... But I'll try to keep in touch with you Mr..." He responded "Fuji...Mr. Fuji" he then gave me his number and exchanged thanks before I left to join the others Today seems to be a really good day today.
