Chapter 12 : day of sigma

(July 4th, 21xx) [St.jude's hospital]

I join with Clark and Dr. Cain as we head towards a St.jude's hospital. I've researched the St.jude hospital history, mission, and what it does for its patents. We are here to visit the patents inside and start a charity Livestream where people will ask us questions about almost anything. Clark asks me "X have you went to the hospital before?" I replied with "No, why?"  Clark answers "You're in for a shock. I can tell you that a friend of mine died from cancer. His name was Sam. He was an amazing person but died too soon. Clark said that with a longing voice and a tear in his eye. I can tell that Sam changed Clark's life forever. We enter the front door the receptionist says "Oh. You're right on time they're very excited to have you, Dr. Cain." We are now in a room filled with many patients and... oh my god. I see that these patients are very unwell. But I see many smiles on these patients' faces and those smiles make me feel something familiar and something new. I feel bittersweet. These people shouldn't die, but their strength of not letting it consume them makes me happy.

                                                                  (12 hours later)
Dr.Cain and Clark are outside as I wave goodbye to everyone. As I leave I see something in the sky. I snap out of it and begin to leave. Then... I see everything collapsing around everyone. I hurry to the nearest people I can carry with everything I've got and more to save everyone as I see Clark doing the same. When I reach the front door I see everything collapsed we immediately rush to the destroyed area and lift as much rubble as quickly as we can... only to discover that everyone is dead. "It's not fair!" We both quote at the exact time. Bwoowip!  We see Zero behind us "Zero, what happened? Who attacked us!" I immediately told zero. Zero responds "X I... I need you to make sure everyone around you evacuates to a safe place, then meet me at the hunter base. Be quick ok bud." I nod and lead everyone to a safe place by leading them to the closest city metropolis. Then I prepare a teleport to the hunter base Bwoowip! I immediately ask Zero "what is going one? Who did this? Zero answers "Sigma... Sigma's gone maverick... they... they also brought many of the hunters on their side." "What? N...no. This isn't possible! There... there has to be a mistake! Let's talk to him find out what's actually going on. Maybe..." Zero interrupts "They're bombing the city! The capital is BURNING! And I'm the only hunter remaining... and... and I don't want you to get hurt! So take cover and make sure to stay safe." I respond "no. You have one more hunter on your side now."
