Chapter 15: Different views

I checked the time as I got in my car and my phone reported that its 18:35. Well I did say I have to end my shit today and my date with Ndumiso is in a few hours. He texted that he will send a driver so I need to be ready by 20:00 and then I started an unnecessary argument by telling him there is no way that he will send a stranger to pick me up so if he doesn't then I'm not going anywhere. Even though I thought he will not bend over he actually agreed to pick me up.

I know I sound stupid but to be honest I really don't know who to drop at this point because both of these guys have everything I want in a guy and they are two different people from two different worlds so this is all just too much for me. Can't I just ask them to share me,I know it sounds stupid but can't I?.

I started my car engine putting on some old school RnB music and drove off with my thoughts swallowing me away from reality. Its like my heart is debating with my mind and I don't know which one to go for,what if I make the wrong decision I mean whatever decision I make I need to live with it right.

My phone rings bringing me back to reality,I connected it to the car audio and answered without checking the caller ID.

"Hey beautiful"

My heart stopped for a second before I could gather myself to answer him.

"Hey Arin"

"Did I do something wrong I mean you not replying to my messages"

"I'm sorry its just that things have been hectic and work has been keeping me occupied so..."

"Don't worry I understand your job is very demanding thats why I think we need to sit down and talk about a way of working around your schedule so that we can spend more time together"

I close my eyes biting my lower lips. I feel like the worst person ever right now.

"Well thats a great idea. Look Arin we need to talk so can we perhaps meet today before 20:00"

"Unfortunately beautiful I can't I'm still at work and its so busy I really can't"

"Well thats okey,how about tomorrow then"

"Tomorrow's perfect,you can come over after work at my place and I will cook supper. I also have some exciting news to tell you"

"I'm sure you do. Well its a date then"I tiredly officiate.

"Of course. Listen I need to get back to work please take care of yourself and stay amazing"

"Sure bye"

He drops the call and I deeply sigh. I spent more time with Ndumiso and we've been through arguments and quite a lot in such a short space of time. Its like the world wants us to be together cause every thing just leads us to one another...but then Arin is a very good person and I didnt really give myself a chance to get to know him better.

I finally arrived at home,felt like I flew here the way my thoughts just took me to a whole different dimension. I walked in and poured myself a glass of wine to calm my nerves. I took my glass with me and made my way upstairs to my room.

I got to my room and took off my heels before making my way to the walk in closet to look for something to wear. As I scanned through my clothes my phone rang and I jogged back to get it from my purse.

"I hope you getting ready"

I chuckle softly as I sat down on my bed.

"I was about to,I only just got home now"

"Well I'm just making sure cause I know you and not keeping your word"

"What ever Ndumiso just let me get ready or I won't be done on time"
