"MILONKE!!!...MILLI" a voice yells,a voice I would never ever forget in my lifetime, that voice used to wake me up at 04:00 in the morning for no reason. I curse under my breath .

"Nombi what are you doing here this early"I ask in my awful morning voice,I feel so drained that I honestly don't have energy for her and her drama especially this early.

She walks over to open my curtains and sliding door holding my favorite wine glass filled with one of my best wines that I only drink on special occasions.

She sips her drink and snaps her tongue smiling.

"We need to talk Milli and make it fast cause some of us have places to be and people to see"I roll my eyes and sit up.

"Okey I will be down in 5 minutes but for now please get out of my room and next time try knocking"she looks at me and bends her lips downwards scanning around my room,I know she noticed the clothes I wore yesterday on the floor but I couldn't care less. She is the last person to judge me on being untidy.

She walks out of the room taking her precious time.

I stand up and headed to the toilet to brush my teeth and to rinse my face. I wore my silk black short robe and my black fluffy slippers then made my way downstairs.

I get to the dining room and find Zizipho busy setting up the table while her mom is sitting down reading the bottle of wine on her hand, she is no longer pouring it on a glass, she is drinking it straight from the bottle but then why the hell am I surprised cause this is Nombi.

I settle down on the chair and clear my throat before greeting. Zizipho low-toned greets back and its so awkward because we are so used to being all loud and on each others throats on Saturday mornings but today she can barely look at me.

Zizipho sits down across me ,next to Nombi. I pour myself some juice and sit back waiting for one of them to say something cause obviously this is some sort of meeting.

"So what brings me here is yesterday I received a call from uncle Vusikhaya telling me that Zizipho called crying informing him that she was pregnant so he asked me to come and speak to you both about this matter and how we could deal with it once and for all as family"I scoff looking at her and placed my glass on the table before folding my arms.

"Zizipho what is your baby daddy saying about this pregnancy?"she asks and before saying anything Zizipho looks at me and I look at her with my eyebrow raised waiting for her to answer, she quickly looks back down at her plate.

Clears her throat. "he says he wants to take full responsibility of the baby and also wants to...marry me"I choke on my saliva and looked at her in disbelief, what on earth is going on here. Nombi's face beams with a smile and ululated as she stood up to hug her. Zizipho stops her with her hand and shakes her head.

"Can you please wait for me to finish please"she says looking at Nombi.Nombi clears her throat and sits down pursing her lips. "Milonke I would be very happy if you would give me your blessings"

"Zizipho I...".I drink my juice trying to get rid of the lump stuck in my throat cause at this point I can't even utter a single word,I take a deep breath and looked at her forcing a smile on my face. "This is not the future I wished for you. I thought maybe you would want more for yourself then being a mother and a wife but then its your future isn't it...as long as you are happy"I nod looking at her and she flashes me a smile but I know she knows that I'm not happy with all of this but to be honest even though I am against everything I don't have the right to stop her from spending the rest of her life with the person she loves .

"I give you all my blessings mna mntanam(my baby),I am so happy for you. You know what let me call Vusikhaya right now so that he can get the others ready for the negotiations"Nombi excitedly adds and I chuckled softly looking at her with my arms folded,I can bet with all three of my cars and my house that Nombi will take at least half of that bride price money for herself and I said 'at least half'.
