Chapter 24: He is leaving

I hear my phone ringing and I hold my breath hoping whoever is calling me now just gives up cause my body is refusing to wake up and take that call.

It stops ringing and it doesn't take much time until it rings again. Some people never give up yho. I use my hand to search for it without opening my eyes.

"Guys the phone haybo"I hear Thunz groaning.

I give in and wake up to take my phone from the couch. As I looked around my lounge I realized that no one was sober enough to go and sleep in the bedrooms upstairs last night and we were all scattered around the lounge like dead bodies. This is not classy at all.

I answer the call that was now ringing for the fourth time.

"Eyyy hay'shem some people just don't know when to quit"

"Good morning to you too"

"Yintoni ekseni apha?(what is it you want this early?)"

"Baby you gonna kill me for this. I just received news that I have to go to Pretoria today"

"Okay thats fine so when are you coming back?"

"I'll be gone for three weeks"

"Lol very funny"

"Babe I'm serious. I'll come and see you before driving to the airport"

"So you telling me now that you going to Pretoria in a today for weeks"

"Sthandwa sam(my love) I didnt know that I was going and I don't have any other choice I have to go"

"Its fine Ndumiso do whatever you want cause thats what you always do"I drop the call and throw my phone on the couch.

"And then?"Tumi asks as they all looked at me. Weren't they sleeping?

I roll my eyes sighing. "Ndumiso just told me he is leaving for Pretoria in a few hours"

"Haybo kengoku wena funu hamba naye(so you wanna leave with him?)"Thunz asks looking bored and unbothered.

"He'll be away for three weeks mfondini"

"Kengoku,you can always visit ngeweekends kawuyeke idrama Milonke(so?you can always visit in weekends stop being dramatic Milonke)"Andile remarks before resting on his back.

"Yhooo nina ke. Mxm" I throw myself on my couch and also rested on my back.

"You know we right chomi and besides you going to Dubai so it really doesn't even make that much of a difference cause you were going to leave him too"

I roll my eyes sighing. He is making sense though.

"Guys heeee what did we drink yesterday"Thunz questions and we all bursted out laughing cause wow. "I feel like hell shame and where did the Bombay come from?"Thunz continues to question turning to lay on his side to look at us.

"Tumi was the one who was mixing us these nice mixtures that I've never tasted before"Andile says.

Tumi held up her hand dismissing us. "Don't blame me I was doing my job"

Wow.

Thunz and I stood up to make breakfast and left Andile and Tumi to clean up the mess we made.

After 30 minutes or so Thunz and I got done with breakfast. Tumi and Andile were already sitting in the dining table.

"Breakfast is served hunnys"Thunz exclaimed as we moved the bowls of food to the dining table.

"Millz brings the carry pack of Strongbow left in the fridge and whatever else that is there. We need to cure this hangover as soon as possible"Tumi instructed. I brought all the alcohol left in the fridge and placed it on the table along with glasses.
