Chapter 2: A new member

*alarm rings*

I am just thankful that it is Friday because waking up early has never ever been my favorite thing ever. I sigh taking my phone from the pedestal and immediately sending a text to Sinawo instructing her to inform everyone that we are having a meeting first thing this morning. I make my way to the bathroom to do my hygiene process,I lotion myself and head to my walk in closet to pick an oufit. Thing is I am very particular with what I wear cause even though it took a lot for me to be able to wear tight fitting clothes I still kind am insecure with my body, my insecurities didnt come from body shaming cause I have been told many times that I have a really beautiful body at school and everywhere but where I grew up having a thick and nice shape was a nightmare. I would not walk around freely wearing a tight dress or anything that shapes my curves and figure cause old men like old men who were old enough to be my father would always follow me or whistle looking at me with lustful eyes or even spank my butt out of nowhere and because of where I grew up and how I grew up there was nothing I could do about it I just had to make sure I wear huge baggy clothes to hide myself . I scan around and opt for a olive green below the knee length pencil skirt,a white shirt that had pearls beaded all over the chest area, a white blazer and to complete the look I opt for my mint green stiletto heels.For my hair I just decide to rock my blond hair cut and applied a little bit of make up.

I head downstairs carrying my laptop bag and my Purse,I get to the kitchen and find Zizi eating cereal and still in her pyjamas this girl sure takes her time I am sure she is always late.

"Zizi babe"I greet as I open the fridge to take out some fruits and yogurt.

"Big sis"she says smiling before taking another spoonful of her cereal.

"How is you dzoing"

"I is fine sis just stressed about school and how is you"

"I is not okey"I reply chopping assorted fruits for my smoothie.

"Just glad that I am not the only one stressing"

"Well I am not stressing,I am just tired"I correct, she rolls her eyes and gives me a bored look .

"How did you survive all of this cause I just can't like education is literally torture for me"

"Oh please there is nothing torturing about varsity,you are just being a brat qha wena thats all"

"Milonke I don't joke about serious stuff like I am suffering from anxiety lately and I am also struggling to sleep"she says dramatically thinning her eyes tilting her head.

"And I think you are being dramatic I mean look at me I survived and you will too"I shrug as I pour my smoothie in a bottle.

"all I am saying is... just keep an open mind and expect anything from my results"

"I don't keep an open mind when it comes to my money so you better make sure that you get distinctions or you will see what an open mind is...I will show it to you"I threaten giving her a stern look.

"Are you seriously threatening me"

"Its a promise babe"I wink at her before taking my things and making my way out.

"Morning mam"she flashes me a bright smile and I smile back furrowing my eyebrows confused by her enthusiasm early on a Friday morning.

"Did you set up a staff meeting like I asked you to"

"Yes mam I did"

"Perfect,has Andile arrived yet"I ask checking the time on my watch and looking back at her.
