Its been almost two weeks since the incident with Ndumiso and I've managed to put him at the back of my mind,I had no choice with everything going on he was the least of my problems. Last week minister Ntonga got arrested and his son was behind his conviction. He was the one who snooped around and worked with private investigators to gather as much evidence as he could to make sure minister Ntonga is in jail for a long time. The only question that lingered my mind was is he coming for me too cause he did say that he is coming for anyone who has the potential to stop him. For the past days I've been holding my breath waiting for any sudden moves from his side cause with Zwelethu you can never be too relaxed.
To think I was supposed to be relaxed and excited cause tomorrow I'll be rubbing shoulders with celebrities and influential woman as a influential woman myself. This thing of the Woman Empowerment Awards has been also taking much of my needed time cause Andile has been pestering me with doing my nails, installing weaves and dress fittings like this week has been nothing less of hectic for me,he even turned this whole thing into a girls weekend getaway to Durban. Somehow Andile managed to get three VIP tickets for himself,Tumi and Thunz and I was scared of how this getaway would turn out cause all of these characters are a lot to deal with for a whole weekend.
I closed the zipper of my LV luggage bag and sighed placing it by the door. I've just had the longest day at work and by this time I'm usually sleeping or relaxing watching series's.
I proceeded to the bathroom to take a long steaming shower and got ready wearing my Fenty Printed baggy sweatpants and hoodie with my comfortable sneakers to complete the look. I tied my 32 inch tawny weave into a messy bun.
I took my purse, my luggage bag and my suitcase that had my elegant dress and made my way downstairs to wait for my crazy bunch. Andile got us a driver who will pick us all up and drive us to the airport to make sure that we all get there at the same time and no one gets left behind. His words not mine.
I switched off all the lights leaving only the one in the kitchen and snacked on some Pringles as I waited scrolling through my phone. Andile sent a message informing me they on their way to my house and I sent a thumb up sticker then went back to Instagram to check out which celebrities should we expect to see at the Awards.
A few minutes later I received a call from Andile asking me to open the gate and I pressed the electronic control button as I got up to take my things and leave Cape Town for a while.
A Mercedes Benz V-Class drove in and pulled up on the drive way,the driver got out of the car to help me with my luggage and I locked everything and switched on the security alarm before going to the car. I got in the car and greeted the already tipsy bunch that had glasses of Champagne in their hands.
"You guys couldn't just wait"I remark getting in the car.
"After the long day I had. I really couldn't"Thunz admitted before gulping down the champagne in his glass.
"Should we pour you a glass?"Tumi asks handing me an empty glass. I shake my head scrouching my nose.
"I will get sick before I even get on that flight"
"Suit yourself sweety"she says refilling her glass. I chuckle shaking me head.
The driver played Dipatje tsa felo by Daliwonga and we all screamed as Thunz shot videos of us dancing. I became drunk instantly without even drinking. If there is such a thing.
Thunz kept singing "Tsango kabani?" And the rest of us sang back "Hayboooo tsa feloooo"
This song has something about it that just wants you to get up and do something like move or jump anything just do.
