A moment in time

CHAPTER 33

I looked around the field and there she was standing on a mountain but she just won't turn around....why isn't she turning around.

"MAMA!!MAMA!! SUNDISHIYA NDIYAKCELA!!...MAMA!!!(DONT LEAVE ME ALONE PLEASE....MAMA!!!)"I screamed as tears streamed down my face. Why isn't she looking at me I know its her,why is she turning her back at me,why is she walking away leaving me alone in this abandoned place.

*phone rings*

I woke up rubbing my eyes as I slid my hand under the pillows searching for my phone with my eyes half closed. I fully opened my eyes at the sight of Zizipho's name boldly written on my screen. I pinched the inner corner of my eyes sighing is I picked it up.

"Hey"

"Milonke"she answers in a shaky voice.

"Zizipho are you okay?"

She didnt answer but instead sniffed. 

"Zizipho?"

"Milonke, I'm in hospital and my baby is going to die and Mike and I fought I dont know what's going on but I'm so scared I need you I cant go through this alone please"she croaks.

"Zizipho calm down its fine I'll try my best and I'll come to you okay"

I drop the call and rushed out to
Andile's suite. I knocked numerous times and I could hear his footsteps rushing to open the door. He opened the door looking horrified and sleepy.

"What?"

"We need to leave please just pack your bags and book us the next flight out to South Africa we need to leave immediately. I'll explain later"I turned to leave before he could utter another word.

I rushed back to my suite  to pack my clothes and as I was finishing up Andile bursted in my room with his IPad in his hand.

"Did you get the flight?"I ask trying to close my luggage bag

"Yes but one is in an hour and there's only one available sit and the other is in 7 hours so I don't know..."

"Its fine I'll take the one departing in an hour then you can leave tomorrow morning or take the one in 7 hours"

"What's going on Millz you really scaring me?"

I sigh sitting down. "Yeyy I don't know Andile but Zizipho is in hospital and the baby is in danger its a lot I just don't know like I also had this weird dream"

"Wait Milonke...the same Zizipho who didnt want anything to do with you is the same Zizipho we scrambling all over for?"

"Did you hear a single word I said,Zizipho is in hospital and she needs me"

He holds his hands up in surrender mode standing up. "You know what I won't even get involved let's just get you ready to leave cause you literally have 58 minutes left.

"Please"I say in agreement as I walked back to my closet to collect the rest of my stuff.

I left Andile packing making my way to take the quickest shower. I got done in 15 minutes and got dressed in my black leggings and baige sweater with my crocks to finish my look. I rushed back to look for Andile and he had already called the hotel helpers to take my luggage to my cab,what would I be without him honestly.

"Everything is in the car right?"

"Yep your purse is on the coffee table. I'll bring anything left behind"

"Perfect. I'll call you as soon as I get to the airport"I say embracing him with a hug before making my way out.

"Safe travels"I hear him saying as I closed the door behind me.
