I opened my eyes and was met by Ndumiso creepily looking at me sleeping. I furrowed my eyebrows sitting up. How did I even end up here with him like what the fuck.

"Morning"he says moving strands of hair away from my face. He pulled me in his arm wrapping his arm around my shoulders and I laid on his chest. Fuck Milonke you the most confused hun in the world.

"How did you find me?"

"Had my ways,it was not that hard really but what I still don't understand is why didnt you tell me you were back"

"Well Its not like I was planning to come back without telling you. Zizipho is in hospital with her baby and by the look of things the babies life is hanging by the thread like his parents marriage. When she called me informing me about her situation I just felt like I need to drop everything and come back to be by her side supporting her...even after everything"

"Oh, thats why you were at the hospital last night?"he asks. I nodded in answer.

"She is going to be fine... but the person I'm most worried about is you...love you can't just run to alcohol every time the going gets tough cause you know how it destroys. I'm not saying stop drinking or when and how to drink but I just think you should find another coping mechanism or rather go for therapy to deal with situations"

I nod wiping the tear trail running down my face. He is literally telling me what I know but dont want to except.

"I know"I utter in almost a whisper.

"I'm here and will always be here for you if you need to talk. You don't need to resort to alcohol kodwa I'm here Nwenhle or at least call me to bring you a bottle so we can have it together if you feel like this problem needs a bottle. Okay?"

I climbed my leg over his legs kissing his bare chest. "Okay, just promise me you'll be there forever and ever cause right now...I can't imagine my life without you. I mean you might think I'm being childish and nagging when I call you and act up when you dont answer my calls but I just want you all to myself. If I could I'd chain you to myself or even swallow you. You are my favorite drug"

He kisses the top of my head. "I promise,sthandwa sam(my love). You don't need to quote songs"he says laughing,I smacked his chest as I also laughed.

"And babe I meant to ask how much do you know about dreams and their meanings. I had this dream about my mother turning her back against me and its like no matter how much I called her to get her attention she wouldn't turn. It can't be a good thing right?"

"I wont lie Ntwenhle I'm not an expert but normally that means she is angry at you about something but I don't want to scare you so rather go to consult Ixhwele(traditional doctor) to be sure and they will also advice you on what to do if I'm right"

I sigh in defeat. "Do you know one that is trustable cause I've never went that root and I won't lie I don't believe in those type of things but if it will clear things for me then why not"

"There is one that we use as a family back at home but he lives very far"

I nod. "Its fine I'll tell you when I'll be free then we can go. You'll come with my right?"

"I will try"he answers. I got up to look at him giving him the "please" look

"I'll come with you Ntwenhle its fine"

"Good. Now let's get up and get ready for the day,I'm sure I have a million notifications,I can't just chill in bed as if I didnt drop a deal worth millions"

"Oh damn the pitch was supposed to be tomorrow right?"

I nod sighing. "And I'm sure my whole team is ready to chop my head off. Did I even make a good decision by coming back here?"
