"Did you manage to get her to eat something?" I hear Ndumiso asking Lwando.

"She hasn't eaten anything and hasn't uttered a single word...but she agreed to follow the procedure and take some tests and they all came back clear" Lwando informs before exhaling.

"That's good. Thank you for coming through and especially for the apartment, I don't think she will ever want to go back to that house again"

"Don't mention it,I'm glad to help"Lwando dismisses.

"Sure mfo" They handshaked and Lwando left. Ndumiso came to sit next to me as I sat crossing my legs on the floor starring out the window.

We sat in silence as he hesitantly scooted closer to me and crossed his legs sitting in the same position I'm sitting. I laid my head on his shoulder.

"Can we talk?"

"I...I want to forget"I huskily say as tears Whelmed up in my eyes"

"If I could I would grant you that" he helplessly says with the most defeated look on his face.

"Why didn't I just die?" I croaked.

He pulled me in his arms holding me as I broke down in tears. "Its gonna be fine. We will get through this...together"

I moved away from him wiping my tears. "Don't make promises you cant keep"

"Ntwenhle I let you down before I am not doing that again"

"Ndumiso you didn't just let me down you broke the little trust I had left in men. You came into my life and I told you from the get go that I don't want a relationship but you insisted and promised to be with me forever but the moment I let my guard down you ripped my heart apart and left me to pick up the pieces...then you have the nerve to look at me and tell me you let me down? And you know what as much as I feel sorry for you but then maybe you deserve what Ndoni is doing,maybe this is karma for everything that you did to me"

"What do you mean I deserve what Ndoni is doing?"he asks his face dropping into a frown.

I turned to look straight ignoring him.

"NTWENHLE!!"He grumbled and I jumped looking at him. "What do you mean that I deserve what Ndoni is doing?"

"I...the other day I went to St Bourbon to get my supper cause I didn't want to cook then as I was waiting I heard a woman... I didn't know it was Ndoni but this woman was talking over the phone telling whoever she was calling that the baby she is carrying is his and her fiance thinks the baby is his but its not and...I cant remember everything but she kept on saying that she is scared that she will give birth to a white baby and she doesn't know how she will explain that to her fiance" I babbled.

He looked at me and I couldn't read his face.

"How do you know it was her?"

"I would never forget the face of a person who got chosen over me"

"What was she wearing? Who was she with? Just tell me something tangible marn?"he snapped.

"OKAY...I think she was wearing a brown leather skirt and a red blouse she had a blond weave on and she was driving a red Ferrari"

He clenched his jaw processing everything.

"Stand up,we leaving" he instructed standing up

"Why? Where are we going?"

"I need to take care of this and I cant leave you here alone so lets go"

I stood up and wore my shoes, we both made our way out

~~~
I never knew that a car can fly until this day. Ndumiso drove like a mad person and I couldn't even stop him I just held on to my seatbelt as I watched him risking my life. The look on his face scared me more than what he was doing,its like he turned into this emotionless and cold monster and its all my fault. I shouldn't have told him this I mean I don't even have proof what if Ndoni convinces him that I'm lying then he thinks I lied to get him back.
We came to a halt in front of his house and he got of the car banging the door behind him. He went to my side and opened the door.
"Get out"
"Where am I going?"
"Ntwenhle get out of this car before I carry you out myself"he hissed. I got out and he closed the door and lead the way in.
"YE NDONI!!! NDONIYAMANZI!!! NDONI!!!"He Screamed walking in, his mother stood up from the couch furrowing her eyebrows.
"Ndumiso yintoni?( what is it)"she asks with her eyes dancing between me and Ndumiso.
"SIPHI ESASFEBE SINGU NDONI?(WHERE IS THAT WHORE)"He questions looking at his mother.
We heard footsteps walking down the stairs and it didn't take long before Ndoni appeared also looking confused and horrified. "Ye Ndumiso ungenwe yini? ( Ndumiso what has gotten into you?)"
"So your plan all along was to make me raise another mans child?"he asked looking at Ndoni with the most deadly look, if looks could kill Ndoni would be non existent.
She gasped blinking her eyes as tears whelmed up in her eyes. "You? Its you" she says pointing at me.
"You not even going to deny it Ndoni?"Ndumiso asked defeatedly
"Baby listen just please listen I can explain"she pleads with her hands together.
"So this trash is the reason why you acting li-
"DON'T CALL HER THAT MA AND DON'T BLAME HER FOR NDONI'S ADULTERY. IF MILONKE DIDN'T TELL ME THIS THEN I WOULD'VE WASTED MY TIME TAKING CARE OF SOMEONE WHO IS NOT CARRYING MY CHILD AND I WOULD'VE LOST THE CHANCE OF SPENDING THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH THE PERSON I LOVE"He brawled looking at his mother.
"Ndoni is this true?" His mother asked looking at Ndoni who's face was covered in tears.
"Baby I can explain" she wailed in tears.
Ndumiso walked to the dining area and came back with a gun pointing it at Ndoni.
I screamed breaking down in tears as flash backs from everything that happened last night haunted me, my whole body shivered.
Ndumiso dropped the gun and rushed over to me with the most confused and yet worried face. It took a minute for him to understand the reason for my melt down and walked me out the house back to the car.
We stood by the car with him begging me to breath and calm down that time he is panicking more than I am.
"Get in the car and wait for me we we will leave soon"
I nod walking over to the passenger side.
He walked back inside and came almost an hour later looking like he is ready to eat someone alive.
