At an old-looking house, Klaus and his hybrids were inside...
"Compel the men to open up this wall. We need a sun. I want a fortress, not a dungeon." Klaus says
Klaus sees Tyler walk in. The woman walked away.
"There he is, the man of the hour."
"So everything went okay?" Tyler asked.
"Tony ran down Alaric instead of Jeremy... but apples, oranges. Message lands the same."
"You said you were sending a warning. Not hurt someone." Said Tyler.
"And I did, an effective one. Elena and Ellie's family suffer; Elena's motivated to get me what I want."
"I didn't think we'd actually have to kill anyone." Tyler says.
"Tyler, mate, what you're feeling is the remnant of a guilty conscience. I need you to get over it, okay? End of the day, human life is just a means to an end. Our means to our end. You'd do well to remember that."
Later, Ric lay on the couch, and Damon walked in...
"How is he?" Damon asked.
"He's dead, but Ellie must've given him the ring John left her. Klaus' hybrid hit him. Now we just wait." Elena says.
"Jeremy, for starters, why aren't you wearing vervain? Where's the bracelet Ellie gave you?" Damon asked.
Jeremy frowned, looking down at his wrist.
"I don't know." Jeremy said, looking at them confused.
"Don't you get it? It was Tyler. It must have been. That's why he was hanging out with you, to get you off vervain."

"Klaus is trying to send a message. He wants us to find Stefan and Ellie, who stole coffins full of his dead family." Damon says.
"Coffins? Why?" Elena asked.
"Yep. We have to find four coffins, and voilà... no one else has to die." Damon said.
"Wait, that's your big plan? To steal back four dead Originals... so this hybrid doesn't kill me and everyone we know?" Jeremy asked.
"Got a better idea?" Asked Damon.
"Yeah. Let's get the hell out of here. Pack our bags and go." Jeremy says.
"Jeremy, calm down." Elena said.
"No. No, I'm not gonna calm down, Elena. This happens every time, no matter what we do. I mean, you get on my case about school and work. Who cares? None of us are gonna make it out of this town alive. And quite frankly, I'm glad Ellie and Stefan took those coffins, and I hope it was Ellie's idea."

Jeremy glared at Elena and walked away.
Elena turned back to Damon.
"He said he wanted his family back."
"No. I know what you're thinking. The answer is no." He said.
"If we give him Rebekah..."
"Klaus un-daggers her. First thing she does is kill you. Frying pan, fire, not an option." He says.
"Klaus' coffins. How many did you say there were?"
Later, Bonnie's phone rings, and she answers it...
Bonnie: "Elena, hey."
Elena: "Klaus is looking for four coffins. Just like in your dream. Guessing it's not just stress."
Bonnie: "Don't get involved, Elena. Whatever Klaus wants... stay as far away as you can."
Elena: "Bonnie, he tried to kill Jeremy."
Bonnie: "What do you need me to do?"
Elena: "We need to find Stefan and Ellie. I know that you don't think your locator spell still works... but we have to at least try."
Bonnie: "I don't need to do a locator spell. I know where they are, but Elena, Ellie's changed. She's all for Stefan's plan."
Elena: "I need to try something. Thank you."
Later, Damon and Elena find themselves walking towards the dead witches' house...
