His phone buzzed, pulling him from his thoughts. He looked down at his phone, seeing Ellie's name on the screen.
Back with Ellie, she got up from her bed and had her phone pressed against her ear, and the line rang and rang...
She signed and waited for him to answer.
Back with Stefan...
He looked at her name with a picture of her smiling and declined the call. He put his phone back down, but face down, so he couldn't see her calling.
Back with Ellie, the call goes to voicemail, so she leaves him a message...
Ellie: "Stefan, hey, um, it's me. You probably already knew that, which is why you ignored it. I really have to talk to you. Please call me back. L..."
She hung up before she could finish and sign.
She went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Elena was sitting on her bed and called Damon...
Damon: "What?"
Elena: "Hey, I called you 10 times last night. You, me, and Ellie need to talk."
Damon: "Sorry, I've been busy."
Elena: "If you're mad at me, Damon, you really need to get over it."
Damon: "Oh, I'm over it."
He hung up and laid back in bed with Rebekah.
Later, Damon and Rebekah came downstairs, with Rebekah wearing the dress she wore last night...
"Let's not make a big deal out of this."
"My thoughts exactly." He tells her.
"Besides, I expect you'll come calling soon enough."
