" I tried avoiding you.....but....", she spoke in between the kisses, "I couldn't... I like you Yuzu... a lot", she pecked my lips and my lips curved into a smile.
"I love you." I whispered in her ear. We cuddled all night and I was thinking of taking her to a date.
The next day, I gently caressed her cheeks to see her eyes open.
"Good morning Yuzu," she tingled my lips.
"morning sweetheart...." I kissed her again and I saw a shadow on her when I called her sweetheart.
"I have cooked breakfast." Get ready and come down...", I gave her a quick peck and went downstairs. Within minutes she arrived and we finished our breakfast and is en route to school.
When I got out of the car, I caught her wrist and she turned to me. I don't know if she wants to be open about our relationship, but right now, I can't find anybody in the parking garage.
"Mei... I want to take you to a meeting today... be ready by 7:00," I kissed her and I left.
Haru has been helping me to find the dress... After a hour, I found out something to wear and grabbed the flowers which I got for Mei and went towards her door.
Before I was about to knock, the door was open to see my lovely girl's outfit with elegance. I gave her the flowers and took her by the hand to walk towards the car. I opened the passenger door for her and closed it.
"Where are we going?" she wondered.
"You'll see..." she stayed silent the entire way.
I took her to the lake where we used to spend most of our time. I couldn't find another better place to spend. I've arranged the picnic before with all the food items she would love.
We talked for a moment and we dined and she put her head on my lap and went to bed. I began to caress her head.
"Yuzu...." She called me and I hummed as an answer.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" she asked without any emotions, and I was shocked.
"What?"
"I'm not going to say it again." It's awkward," she tried to hide her head in my lap. I leaned over to kiss her and I said, "I want to be your girlfriend".
********Flashback ends********
I got disturbed from my sleep by a call and I answered without seeing it.
"Yuzu..." I know the person. It is her brother. He kept saying, "Mei knows". I feel confused now.
"What does she know?" I inquired.
"that we're not married", it felt like my head was starting to hurt. I had peace of mind and also a certain fear. Will she get back to me?
