"Who is it?”I heard my brother asking coming out of his room. At the sight of me, he was shocked, "Mei.. Why are you here?".
"You left me unanswered... then I want to talk to you," I said harshly.
He gave me a sad smile, then nodded his head, "This is my wife Jennifer and this is your niece Amy."
She smiled at me and approached me: You have to be my aunt Mei. I saw you in pictures," and she held me. I snuggled up to her and kissed her back. It became a family gathering quickly and I was very happy for my brother, to see him happy.
“Aunt Mei.. Please come back again", Amy squealed and I shook my head giving her hug again and waving my hand to Jennifer.
My brother took me to a park and we sat on a bench and he said, "What do you want to know, Mei?"
"How come you didn't marry Yuzu?" I asked him. He stayed silent for a few minutes and started answering looking down, "I was married before that," I was shocked to hear him. So why was he willing to marry Yuzu.
He went on, "We were forced Mei, I can't give you answers"
"Why not?" I inquired.
"I want to protect my family Mei...", hearing it again I was confused. What is this all about. He was being blackmailed. That means Yuzu was also...
"If you need answers, talk with Grandpa...", he swallowed and said it. What's that got to do with grandfather? He knows I had a relationship with Yuzu and he was happy. I thought my father asked her to marry him.
“Yuzu is innocent Mei.. give her a chance", now he looked into my eyes and I saw a sorrow in him. "We are sorry," he said after a tear fell from his eyes.
I just hugged him and began driving to my house to hear my grandfather's story.
