Author's Note: Here's a song that reminds me of Rick and Luna, especially their shower scene in this chapter! "Love Me Land" by Zara.
I feel like this song reminds me so much of Luna because when she first met Rick, she didn't plan on loving anyone again. She lost hope, until he gave her that hope back. I feel like she was so drawn to him since the beginning, even if it felt wrong. They couldn't resist each other, because they were meant for each other. Now look them :) I really wanted this chapter to focus on Luna herself and Rick/Luna's relationship. Enjoy!!! Thanks for reading :)

I sit Judith in my lap as Deanna sets up a camera to record my interrogation.
"Do you mind if I film this?" she asks.
"Sure. But what's the point?" I ask.
"We are all about transparency here. Please, have a seat, Luna." she says, directing me to my seat. "We will start the interview now."'she says, as the camera clicks and starts recording.
Deanna: "What is your full name?"
Luna: "Luna Grimes."
Deanna: "So you're married? I'm guessing based off the ring on your finger."
Luna: "Yes, to Rick."
Deanna: "Before or after the world fell?"
Luna: "It was after."
Deanna: "How long were you out there?"
Luna: "Since the very beginning."
Deanna: "How did you all find each other?"
Luna: "I found Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, and Carol not long after the world fell. I was wondering through a small town in Georgia with my daughter, Sage. Maggie and Glenn found us. They took us to her father's farm and that's where I met everyone. It's where... it's where I met my soulmate. It's where I met him. The rest... we found each other along the way. They became our family."
Deanna: "Where were you the day the world fell?"
Luna: "I was working a case... these kids were doing a new dangerous drug. They died from overdose, but they came back... hungry for flesh."
Deanna: "You were a cop?"
Luna: "No, Atlanta FBI. Rick was a Sheriff, though."
Deanna: "I could tell... they way you hold yourself and they way you speak. I was a congresswoman. Ohio, 15th district."
Luna: "It doesn't matter what we were. That's not who we are anymore."
Deanna: "Oh, it does matter."
Deanna goes on to explain how this place came to be. It was a planned community with everything needed for survival in an apocalypse basically. She explained how her family made it here to help her district. She said the army stopped them and brought them here. They were supposed to come later, but never showed. She explained how they had supplies, and made it work. Her husband put up the walls with a background in architecture. More people came and helped, which formed their community.
Deanna: "Who he was... mattered. What you were, matters."
Luna: "Why?"
Deanna: "I have the perfect job for you."
