We talked with Gregory, and tried to reason with him. He just wouldn't have it. Even after he hid inside while Maggie, Sasha, and Sage saved the Hilltop. Gregory was a coward. Maggie asked how many people we could spare, and Gregory refused to accept anything we offered.
Rick stands up and yells, "Would we better off without the Saviors, yes or no?"
"Yeah. Sure. Okay." Gregory says.

"So, what will you do to fix the problem?" I ask.
"I didn't say we had a problem. You did. And what happens outside of my purview is outside of my purview." Gregory says.
"What the hell, man? You're either with us or you ain't. You're sitting over there talking out of both sides of your mouth." Daryl yells.
"I think I've made my position very clear. And I want to thank all of you for not being here today and not having this meeting with me or being seen on your way out. In other words, go out the back." Gregory says. Rick nods and we walk out of his office.

"Yeah, that's right. 'Cause we have Maggie, Sasha, Sage, and Jesus here." Rick says.
"And... Enid." Maggie says.
"Hey... um..." Enid says, walking in.
"What's wrong?" Sasha asks her.
"Nothing... come outside." she says. So we all follow her outside. A group of people were gathered around, waiting for us.
"What's going on?" Maggie asks.
"Hey. So, if you don't remember, I'm Bertie. And I owe my life to you all, twice over. A bunch of us do. Enid says that you want Gregory to get us to fight the Saviors with you. Is that true?" Bertie says.
"Yes." Maggie says.
"Do you think we can win, that we could really beat them? Us?" Bertie asks.
"I do. Luna's been there... so has Daryl. They know their way around there." Maggie says.
"Well, Enid says you could show us the way. I'm ready." Bertie says.
"Me too." another man says.
The rest of the group responds, "Yeah, let's do this. I'm in."
Rick and I look at each other and smile. I knew we could do this. Now more than ever.
