"Riley!" I say, bursting into his arms for a hug.
He pulls me back to look at me. "Thank god your alive... I wasn't sure, but you were born a bad ass. Speaking of bad ass, where's lil ass kicker?" he says, searching around only to find Rick, Carl, Sage, and I. Michonne looks at me. I can see their hearts break in front of me. I shake my head as the tears all. The both pull me in for a hug. Michonne hugs me tightly. I was so glad they were alive and with us.
Michonne and I sit outside. "I'm sorry, Luna." I nod my head. It was silent, peaceful, except there was no peace. "I had a baby. A baby boy. He was three. His name was Andre. Andre Anthony. He... he didn't make it. So from one mother to another, I'm sorry for your loss, Luna." she says, grabbing my hand.
"I'm sorry for yours... I always knew you were a mother. I sensed it." I say, wiping my tears and smiling.
"Damn, really?" she says, making me laugh. "I thought I was better at hiding it than that." I just burst out laughing. What she said wasn't really funny, but I just needed a good laugh. Riley comes outside to check on us.
"Hey little sis." Riley says. Michonne stands up to kiss him, before going inside.
"I'm glad you're happy with her." I say. "Thank you... so am I. About Judith..." Riley says. "Please, no more. I can't... I can't talk about it anymore." I say. He pulls me in and we sit in silence.
Michonne walks into the kitchen where Rick is.
"Thank you. I heard her laughing out there. Almost forgot what that sounded like. I can't be her husband and her best friend. She needs you, now more than ever. I know that's a lot to throw at you. So if you're ever feeling like you need a break..." Rick says to her.
"Riley and I are done taking breaks. So what's the plan now? This place, is it home or just a stop along the way? I never pictured Luna as a white picket fence kind of gal." Michonne says, smiling.
Rick chuckles. "Well... let's just stay here for now and figure it out."
"Well, we'll need more supplies. I'll take Riley to go with Carl and Sage to get some." she says.
Rick nods. They all walk outside on the porch. "How long you think you'll be?" Rick asks.
"Fill a couple bags, shouldn't be too long." Michonne says.
"It's 8:15 now." Rick says. I don't know why he still kept time. It didn't matter anymore, but I didn't say anything. It was kind of cute. If anything, it made me love him anymore.
"I'll have her back by noon." Riley says, winking. I roll my eyes. I stand up to join them.
"Alright, you both follow their lead. Understand?" Rick asks Carl and Sage. Rick hands Carl his gun. I hand Sage mine. "Listen to Aunt Michonne and Uncle Riley. Don't cause any trouble." I say. They nod.
