MATTHEW stared at the blank parking space of Zean with a heavy heart. After what happened yesterday, they stayed at the shore until midnight.

Yes, they stayed there and only ordered take-out dinner for the both of them. After that sunset incident, Zean became extra sweeter which Matthew finds comforting and strange at the same time.

Kaya naman malungkot syang napatitig sa palaging paradahan ni Zean. Pero bago pa man sya kainin ng lungkot, marahas nyang ipinilig ang sariling ulo.

He knew that something is happening but he refused to accept what's on his mind. Zean's friends was still there, afterall.

Kita nito ang mga motor ng ibang kaibigan ni Zean na nakaparada, maliban na lamang sa dalaga.

With a heavy heart, he went inside the university until he found himself inside their classroom. His eyes immediately went to where Zean's sit is. Maliban sa kanya, nandoon si Aina, Kleez, at Rin kaya naman muli syang nabuhayan ng pag-asa na baka may importante lang na ginagawa si Zean kaya ito wala.

Nang makaupo, kaagad rin syang pinaunlakan ng tanong ng dalawa nyang kaibigan dahil sa pag-absent nito kahapon. And Matthew couldn't contain his happiness and a wide smile stretched out from his lips.

Zean kissed him, afterall. No, hindi lamang si Zean, kung hindi pati na din sya. They actually kissed.

And Zean said Te amo to him. Matthew doesn't know how to speak the language but he knows what Zean said means. Dahilan para mag-umapaw sya sa saya.

After hours of staying inside the classroom, Matthew found himself sitting in the cafeteria, sitting in one table with Zean's circle.

Matthew remained silent while the others talked. He couldn't take Zean out of his mind, making him open his mouth.

"Kleez, bakit absent si Akihiro?"

Napabaling sa kanya si Kleez, "Ewan. Paggising ko wala na sya, eh. Hindi ba nya sinabi sa'yo kung saan sya pupunta? Akala ko alam mo."

He took a deep breath before slowly shaking his head. "No..she didn't inform me."

Napakunot ang noo ni Aina tsaka sya bumaling kay Kleez, "What do you mean she wasn't there when you woke up? Maaga syang umalis?"

"Baka."

"Bakit?"

Kleez shrugged, "Hindi ko alam, eh. Si Rin lang naabutan ko." Saad nya bago bumaling kay Rin, "Ikaw, Rin, alam mo?"

All of them looked at Rin. She has this blank emotion on her face. Nakatitig ito sa lamesa at parang tumatagos lang ang tingin nito na naging dahilan ng pagkakunot ng noo nila. She was spacing out.

"Boss Miller? Okay ka lang?"

"Hoy Rin."

"Coreen."

Kaagad na napaangat ng tingin kay Timothy si Rin, "Did you call me?"

Timothy furrowed his eyebrows, "Are you okay, Coreen? Parang wala ka sa sarili mo." alalang sabi nito.

Huminga ng malalim ang dalaga at umiling, "Nothing. Why? May kailangan ka ba?"

Bago pa man makasagot si Tim, sumabad si Aina sa usapan kaya naman napabaling sya dito, "Kanina ka pa namin tinatawag. Napakalalim naman nyang iniisip mo at hindi mo kami narinig. We are asking about Zean."

Rin did not answer, instead, she stared at Aina. Unlike Zean who can conceal her emotions expertly, Rin, on the other hand, cannot conceal hers when she's in a state of panic.
