NAKATULALA na nakatingin sa ulap si Matthew na natatanaw nya mula sa kuwarto nya. It has been a week since the explosion happened. It has  been a week since Zean left him. Text or call, Matthew never received anything from her.

After that night, Matthew found himself in his room. Ang tanging sinabi ng ina nya ay may mga kalalakihan ang nagdala sa kanya sa bahay nila. Upon knowing that, he tried to go outside but he was held back by his parents. Saying that it was too dangerous to go out yet. His family had to sedate him to calm him down.

Dahil sa sunod-sunod na pagsabog, malaki ang naging pinsala nito sa buong unibersidad. The university has to close for the meantime to recover from the damages. Kaya naman walang pasok ang mga estudyante at pansamantala na munang pinostpone ang event ng dalawang unibersidad.

Pagkatapos nung gabing 'yon, walang ibang ginawa si Matthew kung hindi ang magmokmok at umiyak ng palihim sa loob ng kanyang kuwarto. He was so heartbroken. He felt like his heart is being torn apart. But can you blame him?

Zean Iris Akihiro is his first, afterall.

And she will always be. Akihiro, hindi ako papayag na hindi ikaw. 

Bumangon sya mula sa pagkakahiga at umupo sa gilid ng kama bago nya inabot ang drawer tsaka binuksan iyon. He took out the picture that he had with Zean, the day they went at the amusement park.

Mapait na napangiti si Matthew habang isa-isa nyang tiningnan ang mga litrato nila noon sa photo booth.

His thumb unknowingly rubbed Zean's face through the picture. The more that the days passed, his longing for her even went deeper. He missed her. His Akihiro.

Sa mga nagdaang araw, hindi tumigil si Matthew sa kakatawag o kakatext sa numero ni Zean dahil nagbabasakali sya na sasagot ang dalaga pero palagi lang syang nabibigo.

Matthew sat straight and immediately wiped the lone tear that fell from his eyes when he heard a knock coming from the door. Mabilis nyang ibinalik ang litrato sa pinagkuhanan nya at tumikhim na muna bago tuluyang nagsalita, "Come in,"

Ilang segundo na muna ang lumipas bago tuluyang nagbukas ang pinto at nakatayo naman doon ang kapatid nya.

Matthew raised both of his eyebrows and forced himself to smile, "Why? Do you need something?"

Meckayla stared at him for a while minute before he heard his sister let out a deep sigh. Kayla stepped inside and closed the door behind her, "You need to eat. Lunch is ready."

"Oh. I'm still full, Kayla. Pakisabi nalang kina Mommy. Naparami ang kain ko kanina, eh."

Pinagkrus ni Kayla ang kanyang mga braso, "Kuya, I hate you. You really annoy me. But, I also hate seeing you like this."

Kaagad na kumunot ang noo ni Matthew sa narinig, "See me like what? You hate seeing me looking handsome as ever?" biro nya pero hindi tumawa ang kapatid nya.

"You're not okay."

"What do you mean I'm not okay? I'm fine as hell."

"No you're not."

"Yes I am."

Meckayla stared at her brother for awhile before she rolled her eyes, "Okay. Huwag mo akong itulad kay Mom and Dad. I can definitely tell that you're not okay. You're not a good liar. Alam kong may problema ka."

"Kayla, really. I'm fine."

"You should not skip your food. I promised Ate Zean that I'll look after you."
