I wake up late, leaving me almost no time to get ready.
Practically jumping out of bed, I mindlessly grab a shirt and a pair of jeans and rush to the bathroom. Washing my face, I let the cold water help wake me up. After that, I quickly get dressed.
I check my outfit in the mirror before going downstairs. I was wearing navy blue jeans with a dark green t-shirt with a flower design embroidered on it.
Leaving the bathroom, I see Jisoo already dressed. Somehow she had woken up and gotten dressed in the short time I had spent in the bathroom.
"You ready to go?" Jisoo asks as I grab my bag.
"I guess so." I shrug.
Me and Jisoo make our way downstairs and into the kitchen. Apparently, that's where everyone else was too.
Thankfully no one seemed to be in a rush. Everyone was eating breakfast and talking to one another.
Both Jisoo and I grab a plate and sit down at the table, silently eating together.
From what I know it seemed like everyone from Seventeen was going to the races.
After most of everyone here finishes breakfast, people slowly start to exit the kitchen, and into the garage. Most likely preparing to, or starting to leave.
"Hey Y/N!" Sana stops beside me and Jisoo, "Want to drive with us?" She asks, gesturing to her and Jun, who was standing behind her.
"Oh, sure!" I say, realizing I hadn't even thought of who I was supposed to be going with. There are obviously too many people to be traveling in one car unless they had a bus lying around.
I follow Sana and Jun into the garage. There were three groups, hanging around and packing their things into separate cars.
We walk over to Mingyu and a boy whose name I think is Seungkwan. Both were leaning against the front of the shiny red car and idly talking to each other.
The three of us each place our bags into the already open back of the car and then make our way to the front.
"DK should be meeting us mid-afternoon tomorrow," Seungkwan states, "Hopefully by then everyone will be recovered," He laughs and Mingyu chuckles along with him.
"Okay everyone!" S.Coups calls from his car, "Let's go!"
Everyone starts filing into the cars. Mingyu unsurprisingly gets into the driver's seat while Seungkwan goes to the other side and sits in the passenger seat.
In the back, I sit behind the driver's seat and Sana sits in the middle, between me and Jun.
As we start to drive out of the garage, I notice the sun starting to rise.
We end up being the last car ready, leaving us following behind the other two cars.
I didn't really have an idea of what the ride would be like, but it definitely wasn't an almost constant conversation happening. Seungkwan talked a lot, not in an overbearing way where he was the only one talking, but in a way that made sure there was a conversation going on.
"So, Y/N, what do you like to do?" Seungkwan suddenly changes the now dry conversation to ask me a question.
"I like to dance, and I doodle sometimes," I say, realizing how boring I must sound. I mean, compared to the racing and betting, of course, I sounded boring.
Yet, Seungkwan's eyes still widen a bit with interest. "That's awesome," he comments.
I suppose he noticed me feeling stiff and he quickly changes the conversation again. "Have you met anyone from outside of Seventeen? Other than Sana that is."
