Chapter 5 - New Comers

We woke up as quickly as we slept. After all, we need to enroll my brothers before class starts. The whole walk from home to school is much more lively. With brothers to finally be with and not only with Papa, I feel happier than ever. And my teacher and classmates wouldn't be able to believe I created my brother from magic or that I have magic at all. We enter the school and start to walk towards the front desk with the principal always the one that guards it. His name is Alfred, an Anteater. He looks up from his papers to greet my Father as usual. "Ah! Mr. Ryker! Glad to see you again." Then he finally noticed that his kids doubled in size. "Oh, found a few more mutts?" He laughs and walks over to pet Ragire's head. I hear Ragire yip at the sudden touch of a stranger.

Papa clears his throat and Alfred stops patting Ragire, "He's a bit shy. We're here to enroll, Radiant's brothers." The Principal walks back behind the front desk and grabs what I assume are documents...

It states that everything shall be filled in. Name, Species, A/C(Astral or Creature), Gender, Sexuality... Age... Now that's a problem. But, Blazer didn't hesitate to answer his age much older than me. Ragire however, answered that he's 9, that's a big gap between me and Blazer. I'm 12 and Blazer is 13 because he's my oldest brother. They answer gay on the sexuality, with straight faces even! Soon people stream inside and some leave their children giving their goodbyes. The document is done soon enough and the Principal welcomes us to our classroom. But, it looks different before when I was here. Alfred sees my confusion so he enlightens me, "This classroom is for Astrals only, your brothers are too, so this is where you'll be learning from now on. Practicing magic." I nod and all of us step inside. To my surprise, there were only a few students. And to even more surprise, we see Cade sitting at the far end with three seats unoccupied. We hurriedly sat beside him, and of course, Blazer would be the one next to him.

"H-Hey~" He doesn't waste time flirting huh?

"H-Hey there." My brother however just sounds nervous.

"Eww!! Gay Astrals! Bleghhh!" Ragire seemed distressed because of this, so I sent them a little warning fire.

"Femam," I whisper and a fire appears on their faces and they all stumble backward on their bum the whole class now laughing at them, except for two similar-looking felines next to our table.

"Brother, what's happening?" Asks the girl lioness, seemingly not able to see.

"It's nothing, just the bullies falling on their bums." His sister giggles at the mention of bums. They both look like they are very close siblings, like me and my brothers, the moment that I wasn't paying attention to Ragire though, he's suddenly right next to the young-looking lion with a Feyadigue Lamie (A type of flower) in his hand like he's proposing. That's too early to be doing that right now Ragire. Though, the lion takes it and smiles. "Thank you, you're very cute." After he said that, Ragire's tail is thrashing and blushing and he's squealing like a school girl. He's eventually back to his seat but, he's still looking at the feline so I get up to talk to the lion.

"Hey, uhh, my brother seems to like you, care to move your table close to ours so the teacher doesn't catch him running around?" At first, he's flustered and then he tells his sister. I help him move the table. "I haven't caught your names." He reaches his paw out for a handshake and I take it.

"I'm Lustre, and this is my sister Hannah." I in turn introduced my brothers and Cade cause why not?

"It's nice to meet another three siblings even if we're Astrals." He says with a joyful expression then Ragire tries to offer a hug but, Lustre looks at him clueless. "What chu want?~" He pats his head, then eventually he gets it, "Ohhhh." He hugs Ragire while still holding his sister. Damn, he's such a good brother. He must do that a lot in his childhood with his Sister. But, why are his eyes closed?

"Why are your eyes closed?" He turns in my direction with a troubled expression.

"My eyes are cursed, it took away my Sister's eyesight, and in turn, it gave me a vision that's so powerful I can see through my closed eyes, and I don't want anyone suffering because they looked into my eyes." He scratches Ragire's ear. "You like that?~" Okay now that sounded kinky.

"Attention class!" I didn't even realize our Advisor came in. "Thank you, you may not know me and I might not know you but, we can start learning each other's names." She grabs chalk, "So let me start first, my name is Ellie Rought. Though you can call me, Elle, for short." Then she points at the first person in the front of the class, "Now tell me your name and stand up when you answer." The introduction eventually concluded and the lesson started.

"So our lesson for today is learning your affinity. I have here a device that can make you proceed to channel your energy and it will let us know what kind of affinity you have under the seven beings." She pulls out paper slips. And put her beans on the paper. Eventually, she let go of the paper, and it set on fire. Everyone in the room was in awe except me and my brothers. She seems to celebrate the applause for a short time before she calls all of us.

Blazer's affinity is Time. The paper flew up and stopped mid-air.
Ragire's affinity is Fire, which isn't surprising since I already saw him cast a Fireball.
Cade's affinity is Creation... That makes it feel suspicious... The dark beast was it him or... No, don't think like that, he's a friend.
Lustre's affinity is Fire and Earth, which surprised us. So it's possible to have multiple affinities.
Hannah's affinity is Water, it doesn't surprise me, it fits her well with that power by the way she looks.
And lastly, it was my turn. I don't know why I feel nervous when I touch the paper slip. Maybe it was just the peer pressure or the attention.

When I let go though, I too got surprised at what is happening in front of my eyes.

The paper slip was split into 7 and each of them represented the 7 beings.

"That is very intriguing. You have all the 7 affinities."
