Beings cheering, the beat of the song, the happiness on my family's faces. Something I have wanted to protect. I have been waiting for a while for a gathering where we celebrate nonstop for my father's ruling. I stand beside him as we watch the performers dance and sing. We both have a smile on our faces. "Jamis, are you enjoying yourself?" He asks.

"Of course!" He ruffles my hair while I bop to the music. "Father I will perform soon, I should most probably get there already."

"Oh! Well, I'll be watching son. Show them what it means to hear your music." I nod and giddily ran down the stairs leading to the auditorium.

I take the spot of the maestro and I look back up at my Father, he nods, smiling. I take a deep breath and tap the baton to get the musician's attention. '1 and a 2 and a 1,2,3-' I wave my baton in the air. I practiced conducting, 'The Howl Moving Castle' a few months ago.

The music calms the audience. And it makes me a bit sleepy as well. The musicians have been practicing, this is good. As were coming to an end, someone decides to ruin the peace with a loud shriek from a violin. All of us stopped and looked at the potential bastard that ruined my performance. And then I saw her, "Hera..." I grumbled, glaring at her.

She mockingly yawns, "All this classic music is making me bored." I grit my teeth and my baton splits in half. She laughs before approaching me. "You should see your face." She puts a finger on my chin and lifts it. I bare my fangs, "You have a great wild face. Too bad you're a goody-two-shoes."

"Enough, Hera." She crosses her arms.

"Ah, Danielle. You should probably stop this classical music bullshit and start letting other music genres enter." My father pulls me away from her.

"And I have, haven't I? What else do you want?" She puts a paw on her cheek pretending to think of something.

"How about your precious, Jamis?~" My father growled his fur standing on end, "Oh? Still overprotective to the mut-"

"Get out."

"Hu-"

"OUT!!!" She scurries off, frightened. His fur recedes to normal. He turns to me, "Sorry about your performance, son." I shake my head.

"You've done nothing wrong, Dad." His eyes appear sad for a moment then he grins.

"Your conducting is getting better!" He proudly announces with a boisterous voice, then he ruffles my hair.

"Ack- Dad, stop!" I giggle. "Though to tell you the truth, I couldn't have done it without my fellow musicians." They all smile at me. But, someone's missing. "Dad? Where's my brother?"

He looks at me with worry. "Your brother couldn't come today. He's busy." I look down. "H-hey.."

"It's okay Dad." I smile. "I'll just go back inside now if that's okay." He doesn't say another word and just nods. I walk up the stairs and enter the throne room. Some guards and maids wave and greet me. I wave back until I reach a hallway with several doors. Reaching the very end of the hallway, I enter my room and close the door behind me. I sat at my table and look through the window. Everyone seems busy.

Huh?

'Wa̶͔̫̝̱̿̏̀̀͜k- ṷ̷̣̜̦̫̮̈́̈́̍p̷̧̤̜̼̰̆͛̽̈́'

"Who's there?!"

"J̷̳͝A̸̭̎M̶͕̓I̷̯̐S̵̢̀ ̸̤̈W̴͚͆A̵̝͐K̴͉̊E̴͕̓ ̴͙̍Ǘ̴͍P̸̹̅!̵͎̈!̶͚̃!̷̩̿"

"Ah!" I sat up, heaving, sweating.

"Oh good, you woke up." I glare at Hera.

"You could've just killed me." She looks at me with boredom.

"That would be very boring to do, and I don't have the power to end your misery anyway." She's stirring a cauldron of soup. "You hungry?" She asks.

I look away, stomach growling. "I guess."

"You should eat more, you're getting skinny."

"You're not my Granma." She giggles.

"Well, I'm glad you found me. It doesn't feel lonely here anymore." You say that, but you're the one who saw me. "Even though I was an asshole to you. You still forgive me, right?" She looks at me, pausing her stirring, waiting for an answer.

"Everyone deserves forgiveness, that's the trait of a Being or any powerful Creatures." She smiles and adds some salt to her soup.

"I guess, I'm not fit to rule after all." She sighs, "Being exiled here, made me think about my position and my actions."

Hera grabs a bowl and pours the stew into it. "I feel the same." She sat down beside me.

"I'm sorry about your Father, he doesn't deserve asshole Beings like us." She scoffs.

I chuckle, "Well, at least you know you have sinned."

"I know right? I hope your brother Jhon would exile those pesky Beings just as your father did to me." She hands me one of the bowls she held.

I took a sip, "Your cooking improved." She smiles proudly while still having her cheeks puff out from the stew. "Who taught you?"

"There were nice women in the tavern, they taught me how to do chores." Hera laughs. "Having no powers at all would make you feel worthless, but now I feel less of it." She finishes the stew.

"I can understand that, my power is my downfall. Quite literally."

"Well, at least you have some other options. And I don't have any." She jokes, "Say, Jamis. What do you say we find a way to go back up there again? To help your brother?"

I stare at her in disbelief, "Us? There's no way we can do that."

"You told me that the 7 Beings have left their threshold, we can enter and use the portal to go back!" I stand up. "Jamis?"

"I'm sorry, I can't." I teleport away.

"Wai-" I'm sorry Hera. I can't face anyone in our realm right now. I don't want to disobey my brother, he'll come back to me, I'm sure.

I appear inside the Nomara Castle. I look up to see, the King with Radiant beside him. "King-"
