Jamis... All I can ever think about is you. And how much I have hurt you. 'But, I cannot say that.' I whisper, Jamis doesn't bat an eye.

However Kipper interacts with my thought, "About what?" He's practically so close to my face.

Jamis growls and looks away from us. "Can you not be at my face right now?" The King clears his throat.

"Please, can you three stay on track?" We have been walking in the forest for quite some time now, along with mom and the other divine beings. I still don't know what we're doing out here. "We're almost there." The King jogs ahead and goes through tall berry bushes. We all hurriedly catch up to him.

On the other side of the forestry lies a waterfall. "Wow..." I say. Mom, Numtal, and Kipper share my amazement, though I feel like Kipper's reaction is not genuine at all. The rest of them are seething in anger.

"This is it?" Feront growls, "This is why we had to walk through this-" Allure covers Feront's mouth while the wolf kept talking, all we can hear is his muffled grumbles and groans.

"You done?" Numtal says with an unamused stare. Feront sighs and the King continues.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience of our walk, but this is something we need to do discreetly." I tilt my head.

"What exactly are we going to do here?" Denmark grins.

"I brought you all here for a trial of trust and understanding of each other's well-being."

"Hahhh?! Instead of just training you instead want us to do kid activities?"

The King chuckles nervously, "I know it may be childish, b-but-"

"No, I'm not going to participate in these things. I'm going back to the castle." The King tries to stop them, "You're pushing your role too much, your majesty. We're not here to fool around with your shenanigans."

"I-if you could just listen-" Feront walks past the King bumping his shoulders.

"If you want us to do things, maybe you should consider that some of us don't want any affairs with each other, divinities or not." He walks off, Allure following behind him. Then Gargan walks off as well.

The only ones left are me, mom, Jamis, Kipper, Haro, Numtal, and Torga. "If I may ask, what type of trial is this for?" The wise-looking stork, Haro asks.

"I have thought it's a good idea to unite our emotions and problems together, to gain each other's trust before the battle. That's what I taught my soldiers in my castle."

"Care to tell us how it works?" Jamis chimes in for the first time in a while. He looks at me.

"Well, we'll have to team up with people that we had no interaction with whatsoever, to strengthen a new bond." Everyone looks at each other. "And don't worry, I already have my list here, except Salinas is not to join any, since I know she can join any crowd and mingle with them well." She giggles.

"Very well," Jamis says and pulls me and Kipper with him. He knows we don't get along at all. "I'll assume it's us you mean. Let's just get this over with."

Denmark has a confused look on his face, but then he smiles. "This trial has 3 rounds, first teamwork, second communication, and lastly trust." He then tells the rules of the first round, both teams need to talk to each other, and show their signs of weaknesses and prowess. After that, we must decide how to beat the other team.

"W-wait! Isn't it a bit unfair we must fight against 3 divine beings?!" Kipper exclaims while Jamis pulls him away from the King to start our plans. "Waaaaait! No!!!"

I can help but chuckle at their antics. We soon huddled in a circle, arm to arm. This doesn't seem to bother Jamis, "I'm pretty sure my only weakness is my magic. I'm perfectly okay with using the 7 being's magic." Jamis admits.

"Well, as you all saw earlier today, I can spawn clones of myself up to 5, for now, I'm still practicing it." Jamis then inquires more about his ability. "The clones I make are loyal to me, but they all will do what I'd do in a situation, so it's not puppeteer magic. Also, I'm a pure Creation user." That explains it. Jamis nods in understanding.

"My weakness is most probably facing danger..." They stare at me to elaborate, "I have no experience in combat, the reason why I fell into a curse by dark magic." They both nod at each other.

"Then we suggest you support from behind, Radiant," Jamis says, Kipper pumps his fists.

"Alright, what's the plan then?" Jamis doesn't say anything.

"Are you sure you want my idea?" He says.

"Yes, this is about teamwork and, to be frank, I'm sure you're wiser than me and Radiant." Jamis looks down.

"Very well. First, Radiant will focus on his magic consumption, I and Kipper will keep them at bay until you're ready to land powerful spells." This is the most he's said something to me, I shake my head, this is not the time to be falling for him Radiant! Get yourself in check.

"Okay, I got it." We wait for the other team to be ready.

"We'll go easy on you. None of those fancy global-scale magic, or anything brutal." Torga says.

"W-well thank you."

"I suppose it's still just trust training, even though the individuals that need it left," Numtal says with a frown.

"This will be a long day..." Jamis arcs his back going for a stretch. I couldn't help but stare. I looked away as his eyes were drifting to mine. "Get ready. This won't be easy."

"Bring it on!" Kipper shouts which makes me yip.

"This declares the first trial," The King raises a metal item in the air, "Let the trial begin!"

BANG!
