Chapter 35 - The War..

Time's no longer passing, making it so the Dusk rules the skies, the land, and the deep.

Such an impossible feat is being used by none other than the Time Being. As every Feral, Creature, and Astrals. They are all prepared to die, to protect their story, pride, honor, and the people they care for.

The prophesized Astral Hero has been abducted, leaving everyone to fend for themselves. All Kingdoms led to panic and chaos.

Nomara, however, has a plan to stop the apocalypse with their people. An army of one hundred Archers, four hundred Foot and Cavalry Soldiers, fifty Avian Soldiers, five Priests, and fifty Nuns.

The bell rang, to alert everyone that a war was starting and they had to prepare to defend their borders. And for the villagers to seek shelter in the castle hall.

One hundred Archers are given Plasma Guns made by Cade. Though some of them are rushed, these weapons are powerful enough to emit light that can pierce multiple Darknesses without the need for magic usage.

One hundred cavalry and Foot Soldiers are given armor that can protect them from delusions and fear of the Darkness, and it is picked based on the loyalty and strength of warriors.

All fifty Avian Soldiers are given artifacts made by the Priests and Nuns to strengthen their ability to soar faster through the sky.

The King situated all four hundred Cavalry and Foot Soldiers outside the gate of Nomara to full head-on combat.

The Avians are told to fend off flying monsters that might go over the border.

Priests and Nuns are going to create a temporary barrier around the border to delay the Darkness from entering and buffing everyone from the inside of the barrier.

The Archers took their posts next to the Priests and Nuns for extra protection until Dawn. But, the King is worried about the Pillars of Creation. The 7(6) Beings are sent there to protect their Creation, alongside Blazer, Ragire, Lustre, Kipper, and Cade.

Everyone is hoping this plan will work while Jamis is trying to find Radiant as fast as he can in the middle of the battlefield. He is under rubble, thanks to Gargan's ability and he's currently watching closely from the ground and see if he can spot Radiant.

Me and Radiant watch as the Dawn sets on the horizon. "I gave you a front seat just for this show. I hope you will like it." I smile, while Radiant struggles against the thorny whips restraining him. "Oh? Did you have something to say?" The vine covering his mouth moves out of the way. "Go on."

"Ghh... S-Salina-" He coughs before he can even use an incantation. They did a number on him, but he's very persistent I'll give him that. Even after all the things my comrades did to him the light in his eyes never wavered.

"Awww~" I loom over him and get closer to his face and glare. "I will show this world pain."

"How dare you-"

"How dare me?" I laugh, "Wake up Chosen, this conflict could have been evaded." I pull him closer to the edge of the cliff. "You could have told them to let me see my mother..."

"What are you talking about?"

I point in the distance where the Pillars of Creation are located. "She's trapped, over there, waiting for me, to be freed from the blinding light." I look him straight in his eyes. "Wouldn't you want to do the same for your Mother?"

He glares at me at the mention of his own, "Don't you lay a finger on her..."

"I won't. But, what about, your Father." Just as I say that, my men come in with Ryker.

"Radiant!" Ryker tries to escape from the two guards and gets punched in the gut for it, he groans and wheezes.

"Dad! Please! Stop this!" Radiant coughs.

"Already begging? What a pity." I look back into the distance. "Don't worry, once I destroy the Pillars of Creation, any of your grief will be drowned out-"

"Danielle: Zimaq Ome Quelase." Something tried to slash my neck. "Good, I'm in the right tempo."

"Darkness: Amiwizay Bigi." Shadow tentacles rose from the ground to bind my assailant.

A quick slash from his claws made my spell get ripped and he frees Radiant. "Let's go, Radiant."

"Wait! My Father!" The fake Ryker reverts to his original forms and they laugh.

"Hahaha~ look at him boss, he thought I was his father!" He continues to laugh which ends in him getting decapitated by the Jerboa.

"Let's go Radiant." Then they hop away.

"They're getting away!"

"Don't bother, whatever they try, I will destroy the Pillars of Creation and free my mother." Just wait Radiant.

The border is in chaos, I already lost 3 of my men. But I have to encourage them as a Leader, "Men! Never back down, we will protect the borders for our people!" I charge into darkness after darkness, cleaving their heads off with my poleaxe, there was more flying darkness than we had thought.

Even with the help of the archers, we won't be able to push all of them back. The darkness swoops with their talons outstretched to archers and they are getting overwhelmed. "Aidan, focus." I look behind me and see Haro. "We can do this, me and your battalion will be enough to rule the skies." I nod.

"Men! Regroup to me!" All of them immediately fly back to me, "Striking position!" They all point their poles outwards.

"I call for the breeze to heed our need for your strength, let there be the storm that will desecrate those that block the wind's path!"

"Haro: Zijumey."

Thunder can be heard overhead and a strong gust of wind charges us forward.

Enemies get pulled in left and right and get sliced, stabbed, and ripped apart by our stance. "We can win, men!"
