Chapter 10 - A Lovely Night

I got woke up from a dream of my mom giving me a companion. I open my eyes to see who's singing this wonderful song. And there he was, the person from my dream. "Ah, sorry did I wake you up?" He immediately sprung up from his chair and sat on the side of my bed. "I couldn't help it. It's been a habit for me to sing at night." I should be surprised that my dream was true but, I'm too tired to be surprised right now.

"It's fine, Jamis." I rub my eyes to hopefully get the sleepiness away. "Mmh, what time is it?" I groan as a headache coursed through my head.

"If my calculations are correct. It's still the middle of dusk." He puts his paws on his chin, thinking if he is correct.

"Aren't you sleepy?" He scratches his head.

"I guess I am. I just wasn't able to admit that I am now mortal." I sit up and hug him. "Uhhh..." I pat his back.

"I had a dream or an insight." I can feel Jamis shake his head on my shoulder.

"Your mother showed you what has transpired. It wasn't a dream or an insight." He corrects me.

"Does it help you?"

"W-what?"

"The hug. Does it help you?" I ask seemingly not noticing how cheesy I sound.

"I-I'm grateful for how you comfort me but, this feels embarrassing." He slightly squirms from my hug. "And a bit straightforward. I think your lack of sleep is affecting you."

I laugh, "What schu talking about? I'm fiiiinee." He slowly hugs me back.

"This feels nice but, seriously, go back to sleep." I have an idea.

"Sing me to sleep." He pulls back off and looks at me like I gave him an ice cream. Wait, what's ice cream?

"I'd be glad to. Then, lay down, lay down." He ushers me and clears his throat and started singing, his voice is as cool as the winter winds. I'd say he's a tenor, he stroke my head as he sings a song about how stars shine in the dark. I like it very much. And so, I drift off to sleep.

I was just going to go back to my room after another all-nighter in the research facility when I hear a soothing voice. It's coming from Radiant's room. Wow, so young and he already beat me at inviting a boyfriend into my room? How lucky.

"Cade? What are you doing?" Someone whispers in my ears. And I cover my mouth as I was ready to scream. I swiftly turn around and see Blazer. My words left me and I'm here gawking at his body. I'm sure I'm salivating right now. "Are you okay? Here let me wipe that for you." Eh? He wipes the edges of my mouth with his paw, his bare paw!!!

"A-A-A..." You're going to give me a heart attack! But, I wouldn't mind dying happy.

"Ah... I think I made it worse. Are you having nightmares? You can sleep in my room if you want." How can you say that with a straight face?!

I clear my throat and whisper, "Yes please~" He immediately gets flustered, and I giggle internally, good thing I brought a candle with me to behold his face, he's so damn handsome and cute! "Shall we?"

"A-ah, yes." He takes hold of my hand and we walk to the next door. Hmm, I guess it makes sense since him and Radiant are brothers. He opened the door and see the same exterior as the room I got except, there is a rapier lying at the table in the middle of the room. "Oh, sorry about that, my Father gave me that." He puts it under his bed.

"I-Its fine. It's not like seeing something like it is rare. So you like using a rapier for combat?" He nods.

"B-but that's not the reason why I invited you." He bashfully looks away. So cute~

"I know. So uh..." I sway my hips forward and backward. Paws behind my back. "Will you cuddle me in my sleep? I do get nightmares." Not gonna lie those nightmares are getting frequent.

"O-of course." There's an obvious high pitch in his voice. He's nervous, even though we're just going to have a cuddle tonight. He lays down and gets comfortable. "Be my guest."

I chuckle, "Is it okay if I uhh... Strip? I get sweaty if I don't." Blazer just nods, his face redder than I anticipated. I take off my lab coat slowly, then next is my shirt, and then my lower garments. His mouth is agape and I can't help but blush. I climb into the bed and immediately cuddle on his chest.

"You got... A magnificent body." I don't know how to respond to that so.

"Y-You too~" I look into his green sharp eyes. Even at night, they shine lively. "You have beautiful green eyes."

He chuckles, "You also have beautiful green eyes." I blink.

"O-oh right." I laugh, "I forgot I also have green eyes." I shamelessly grind against him. "Oh sorry..."

He only looks at me with a smile. "N-no go ahead, it felt good." I grind into him again.

"Isn't this, too early?" I chuckle. "But, I have nothing against it."

"I-I think the same." He moans as if I might have given him a good grind. "S-sorry it just felt so great~ I could fall asleep like this~"

"Same. Can I kiss you?" He looks at me with hungry eyes and he swallows.

"Yeah~" I lean closer and made contact with his maw, it was soft. I lean further wanting to be let inside. And he obliged, our tongue made contact and we made love in the middle of the dusk, accompanied by the singing of the guy next door.

Soon enough we fell asleep, content with what had transpired.
