Do you believe that the rules of life are black and white?

Is it fair that the Predators are always on top?

Will the Prey ever fight back?

For me, there's no such thing as Black and White... "When you killed the people I loved." Another Darkness vanquished, my hunger for revenge must be satiated.

"Boy, aren't you a lively fella?" A hoarse voice calls out holding a dagger with my kin's essence.

I slash at him relentlessly, fuelled by anger. "Die, Darkness." I spit words on their faces, and with it, the spells of light purge them, or so I thought.

"That was close." I must kill all of them.

"Radiant, let me handle him, you go on ahead." I stare blankly at Jamis and nod.

As I continue to traverse the mountain of littered bodies of both friends and foes. I stumble upon my brother. "ᴮˡᵃᶻᵉʳ..." I cradle him in my arms just as I did with my mother. He mumbles, so he's alive, I hug his weakened body. "ᴿᵉˢᵗ ᵇʳᵒᵗʰᵉʳ."

I place him behind bushes and under a tree, where he will be undisturbed. And continued onwards, where I finally met him. "Arthur."

"Oh, so soon, little star?" I ran uphill and slashed at him. But I already knew he would appear behind me, without saying a word he was struck with light. "GAH! You little-"

I slice his head off, but it dissipates and reattaches itself quickly. I reach and grab him. "Die." DISINTEGRATE, DISAPPEAR, DELETE, TURN TO DUST, DISSOLVE, I CURSE YOU NON-EXISTENT FOREVERMORE!

"You won't rid of me that easily." Black tendrils constrict my arms as I flail helplessly. "Just give up Radiant. This is the end for you." No, it can't be the end. "No epic fights, No resolution, Your Divine Beings are dead. The only thing left is for me to destroy the Pillars."

"Don't you dare... Do you even know what would happen if you destroy it?"

"Why, yes! I will be able to reunite with my Mother and release the poor Darkness trapped inside."

"You're releasing a calamity to the world, Arthur."

"What's more catastrophic than losing the only person you loved?"

"You don't understand-"

"No, YOU don't understand. YOU had a loving family, protected from the reality of things."

"Either way, this won't bring back your Mother, trust me!"

"I've had enough of trusting people, and even if it doesn't bring her back, I could say that I tried."
