A World I Didn't Want to Live in

"I wasn't expecting him to move out the same day." Kacchan said as he set his bag down by the front door, taking in my penthouse. "Damn Deku, this is a nice place." He said.

"Thank you." I replied with a soft smile as I walked into the living room. After giving our statements about finding Ojiro, I came straight home and stripped out of my costume. I didn't realize it until Kacchan pointed it out during patrol, but I had some of Ojiro's blood covering my shoes and the bottom of my pants. I have never been so thankful to get out of my hero costume. "Iida is packing his stuff, and then you can move into his room."

"Sounds good." He replied as he walked into the kitchen. My home was extremely open so that you could see the kitchen, living room, and dining room from anywhere in the front of the penthouse.

"Are your counters real marble?" He questioned in amazement as he ran his hand over the black and white counters.

"Yeah." I said simply as I grabbed the dark green fluffy blanket on the back of my couch, throwing it over my body. I curled myself into the blanket on my black sectional, closing my eyes. I had to make the patrol chart for next week, but I figured that could wait a little while. My body was exhausted, and I didn't feel like moving just yet. I could hear Kacchan slowly move around the front of my home, admiring everything it had to offer.

"Two bedrooms, one bathroom?" He asked as he walked into the living room, sitting next to my head on the corner of the sectional.

"Yes." I confirmed. "The pool, workout room, and laundry are on the ground floor. The rooftop has a nice area up there with a grill and a few activities if you ever get bored."

"I don't think I've been swimming in two years." He said with a light laugh. I kept my eyes closed and my face buried on the couch. I could feel his body heat on my face, the thought making me blush. "We'll have to go some time."

"Maybe tonight." I responded quietly. "I could really use the sauna right about now."

"There's a sauna down there?" He asked me with amusement in his voice. "Well, shit Deku, I think I'm going to like it here." He said with a light laugh.

"I know I did." Iida chuckled, walking into the living room. I slowly opened my eyes, hating that every wall in the front of this place was covered with windows. It helps my depression out when I get bad, but they're a nuisance when I want to sleep.  "Everything is packed up, but it's going to take me a few trips to take it all downstairs."

"Give me a minute and I'll help." I groaned quietly. Iida knew I usually took a short nap after I showered, so he didn't question what was wrong when I groaned.

"It's fine." Iida reassured. "Shoto is downstairs waiting for me to take my first load down, and then we'll get an early dinner. You can nap and help when we get back." As nice as that sounded, I didn't want Kacchan to have to work around his stuff.

"Are you sure? I can help really quick." I offered as I pushed myself to a sitting position, the blanket falling to my legs.

"I'll help him, you take a nap." Kacchan said to me as he laid a hand on my shoulder. He gently pushed me back down into the couch. I didn't hesitate as I nodded, rolling onto my side. As much as I actually did want to get up and help them out, my body was already overworked and exhausted. My doctors told me if I continued to push myself as I have been, it would only shorten my life span. I needed all the time I could get if I wanted to stop the U.A. Killer before I died. I grabbed the blanket, pulling it over my body once more.

"Hey Iida?" I questioned as I watched Kacchan walk across the living room.

"Yeah?" He questioned in reply.
