Final Chapter

CHRISTMAS EVE

Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas nang dumating ang mga Smith, ang pamilya ni Jonas. Mom called me and my brothers to entertain Jonas. And an hour later, the Altavistas has arrived.

The maids took care of the tables while are busy chatting with each otherʼs families. They put silk clothing to the tables and lighted some candles to match the vibe of the whole room. They also removed the balloons that me and my brothers put on the wall. Afterall, this time is only for Christmas eve.

Then another hour passed it was already dinner time. Tito Vince and Tita Ellie sat beside Mom and Dad which were also sitting with Tita Kataleya and Jonasʼ parents.

When she ended the song by the chorus, she bowed in front of all of us and went back to her chair.

“Ang corny ng kanta mo, France.” sabi ng isang pamilyar na babae mula sa pinto. It was Kimberly, Lianaʼs older sister. Liana ran towards her sister and saw her parents there. Tamang tama ang dating ng mga Montenegro.

Nag-asaran ang dalawang magkapatid at ang magulang naman nila ay nagtungo na sa isa pang table na katabi ng table nila Mom.
