Chapter 23

I was having a crisis as I was staring at the text. Shit! Bakit ngayon pa to nangyayari? His text was sent 2 minutes ago. How far is the west building to the south building? Mga ten minutes walk lang siguro. 

Bigla akong napahinga ng malalim. I didn't noticed I was not breathing evenly.

"Ano daw ba ang name niyang engineering?" tanong ni Dana kay Gabriella na humahagikhik. 

"Logan daw. At hotty din daw. Gosh! Swerte ng mga taga engineering… sa engineering pa lang daw siya gumagala!" kilig na kilig na sabi ni Gabriella. Pati si Vanessa at Dana ay nahahawa sa kakiligan niya. 

I shifted my weight. 5 minutes and he will probably be here. And of all days, ngayon pa nagpakita sina Harden. 

Bigla akong tumayo. "Excuse me. CR lang ako!" medyo tensionado kong sabi. Natahimik silang apat. Fiona slit her eyes at me. 

I immediately glanced at the entrance wishing no Logan would appear hanggang nandito pa ako. Pag baling ko sa mga kasama ko ay nahagip ko ang titig ni Harden. He was raising his brow again. 

"Hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko. CR lang ako!" 

I didn't wait for their response at umalis na ako sa table. I walked fast as if CR na CR na talaga ako. Tinahak ko ang third floor na CR na hanggang ngayon ay out of bound parin. 

The moment I closed the door, my phone received a message. 

[I'm at your cafeteria. Where are you?] text ni Logan. 

I inhaled deeply as I composed a message. 

[I'm not in there. Medyo sumama ang pakiramdam ko kaya umuwi ako. Kakabasa ko lang ng text mo ngayon din.] 

He didn't text back. Kahit gusto kong lumabas ng cr ay hindi ko ginawa. I would choose to be here than be in that cafeteria where Logan and Harden were. Not now that I don't know their stand in my life. 

Hindi ko alam ilang minuto akong nanatili doon. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my phone rang. 

"Hello?" 

I heard my cousin sighed. "Where the hell are you again? Nandito na yong lunch mo." si Fiona. 

Rinig kong maingay sa table nila. 

I walked back and forth as I thought of an excuse. "I couldn't eat. May LBM ata ako." Nagkunwari akong hindi maganda ang pakiramdam. "Bakit ang ingay niyo? What's happening?" tanong ko ng marinig ko ang hagikhik ni Vanessa at Gabriella. 

"Just make sure you're not doing anything again. Napagalitan din ako ni Aunt Janine when she asked me about your disguise thingy!" Inis yong boses niya pero pabulong niya iyong sinabi. 

"I'm not doing anything… so ano nga ang nangyayari dyan?" 

I heard her snapped at Gabriella to act cool again before she answered me. "It's Harden and the new guy. They're on one table at parang mag aaway sila. Didn't know they don't like each other. Cousin pa naman sila." she trailed off as she snorted. "Ohh kagaya mo pala. You hate us… your cousins." she accused. 

I immediately rolled my eyes. Pinatay ko na ang tawag nang mapagtantong sa akin mababaling ang usapan. She uses that thing on me every time she finds a situation like this. I don't hate them, I hate their lifestyle!

Lumabas ako ng mag one na at sa room na ako dumeretso. Kahit sa room ay usap usapan ang nangyari sa cafeteria. Before the professor could arrived, nalaman ko na ang nangyari. 

"No, they're cousins. I was once invited to one of the parties hosted by Gueveras. Logan's mother is the brother of Harden's father." sabi ng classmate ko na sa unahan ko lang.
