【CHAPTER FOURTEEN】
ˋsorryˊHaruto was patiently waiting for his manager, Jihoon, after he told the actor that he'll just send Jiwoo home after taking care of her.
The sky was already dark and he was just seating outside the tent. The other actors with their managers and personal assistants already went home first but Junkyu was still on the set and was still currently shooting his last scene for today.
He was quietly scrolling through his messages back and forth like he was waiting for someone's message to appear on the screen.
"Hey" his reflexes automatically moved as his head looked up after he heard some familiar voice near him.
Recognizing a familiar figure standing in front of him.
He doesn't want to seem 'easy to get' person so he just wanted to play some little games with the younger.
"Why are you here?" He coldly asked. He didn't heard anything from Junkyu's personal assistant.
"I just want to talk to you"
"Oh really, you want to talk to me. Aren't I a stupid person to talk to you?" He sarcastically spoke. Not like he was mocking the personal assistant. He was just kidding, he wanted to act like he was sulking to play with him.
Jeongwoo just lowered his head down. Here's the feeling of guilt eating him up again. He should have not said that.
Seeing the personal assistant's reaction, Haruto couldn't help himself but to smile.
Cute Jjeongu.
"Your legs will feel numb if you won't seat beside me" he lowkey offered the younger to sit beside him. The bench he was sitting was enough for two people so it's okay.
All he thought is that the latter will oppose to his idea but he was completely surprised when he sat beside him and start playing with his fingers.
"Don't think of anything. I am here to tell you something" Jeongwoo spoke in a soft voice still not giving him even a single glance.
"Tell me" Haruto replied.
"I am sorry" this time, he again looked up on the younger latter. He was a bit shocked to hear those words from him.
He wasn't really expecting it from him.
"For what?" He asked.
"You already know that" Jeongwoo shyly said.
"Know what?"
"What I said earlier"
"But you said a lot earlier. Which one?" Haruto was this time completely clueless of what Jeongwoo was talking about.
"C'mon, I know you know what I mean"
"Jeongwoo, I do not know what really are you talking about. Mind telling me the exact words?" He asked nicely because he was genuinely confused.
Jeongwoo was too tired to argue with him anymore. Besides, he can see that Haruto was really confused of what he was talking about so might as well telling him to end this.
"When I called you stupid earlier. I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry that I let out my anger to you. I know it was my fault" Jeongwoo shyly apologized, still playing with his fingers.
The japanese find that gesture cute. He just let out a smile and held the guy's hand that made him startled.
"Do you think that'll hurt me?" He asked.
Jeongwoo looked first onto the japanese's face before staring back on their connected hands before he immediately took back his hand.
"I don't know but still I want to apologize if ever you find that offensive. I'm really sorry for what I said"
It didn't offend nor hurt the japanese but he was thankful that the korean apologized to him. He appreciated the courage the korean took to talk to him.
"It's okay. It didn't hurt me though but still, I appreciated you said sorry to me"
Haruto brought his eyes to the surroundings as he let out a long sigh.
"People often say that to me. Others will say more bizarre and terrible words to me so I can say that I'm already immune to that"
Nevertheless, he might say that he's already immune to those words, some terrible words people often say to him still hurts him. But in this industry he's in, you have to pretend like it doesn't hurt you.
Jeongwoo felt more guilty towards the young actor. For some reasons, he felt bad not because he knows he was wrong. But for the fact that he was an actor and had to bare some words knowing you can't do about it.
For some reasons, he suddenly felt what the actor was feeling for a few seconds of talking to him.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that"
Haruto bitterly smiled, "No need to feel guilty for me okay. It's okay"
Staring at the japanese young actor, this guy was more than just an actor and guy. He still hated the man but just by looking at him, it feels like he already gone through a lot.
"It surprised me that you talked to me first" the guy suddenly beamed with a playful smirk on his face.
"D-don't think of anything else, okay. It's just that I felt bad"
"You felt bad or you just really wanted to talk to me? C'mon, you can just tell me" Jeongwoo just rolled his eyes heavenwards.
Haruto was just playing with him. He was really not used of the vibe earlier. He was more used to annoyed and mad Jeongwoo like he was always everytime he talks to him.
"Stop being a jerk" he automatically laughed upon hearing a hint of annoyance on the younger's voice.
"I am not being a jerk, I am just being realistic you know"
"Wow, I didn't know that being annoying is your realistic personality" Haruto didn't even responded as he laughed more loudly.
"Haruto.."
For the first time, the younger called him with his name. No kidding but it feels new for the young actor.
"Yeah"
"Can I pat your head?" Haruto was just surprised of Jeongwoo's sudden request. But who is he to refuse.
"Yeah sure"
Jeongwoo stood up from the bench and gently pat the japanese young actor's head. For some reasons, Jeongwoo just thought that he needed this.
"You did great. You are doing good right now. Keep on going, okay?"
Dang, if you said so, I will do better next time.
to be continued..
