“Did I made wait for so long?” the japanese actor asked while panting carrying the picnic basket he brought for the two of them.

“No, it's okay. Come sit here already” the korean then assured tapping the remaining space on the picnic basket beside him.

“These basket are a bit heavy, I kinda had a hard time running here” the young actor sulked.

“You should've called me earlier! I could have carried that for you”

“I wanted to surprise you. And don't worry, Jihoon hyung helped me with these”

Jeongwoo immediately welcomed the young actor inside his arms as he gently massaged his arms that was carrying the heavy baskets earlier.

“I'm glad you asked me out for a date” Haruto happily said as he peacefully leaned on the korean's chest, feeling the loud heartbeats from his chest.

“Are you happy?” Jeongwoo suddenly asked.

He thought that a simple date outside would make him happy and so he was never wrong. Haruto was more than happy to be there, to be beside of the person he adores so much.

“More than happy. As long as it was you I am with, no matter if we were just inside the house, I am very much contented”

Jeongwoo couldn't help but to smile as to what he just heard. When he was on his younger years, all he thought that all actors likes to boast their stable life, wealth, and blinding career status most especially offcam.

But now that he met him, all that perspectives suddenly changed. He was the complete opposite of all of it. On the other hand, they went through a lot for the past few months of being together.

Most especially of Jeongwoo's point of view, he had to fight and stop several thoughts taking over him previously and glad that he was here right now, being the most confident version of himself. I guess this was love can do to a person.

God knows how much he was grateful for this moment. And so he thought he wanted to give his dear lover a present, a present that he had been waiting for.

“Why are you so quiet? I'm not used to it” Haruto noticed his silence.

He was a bit nervous, he wanted to give his gift perfectly.

Jeongwoo smiled at him as he took his guitar lying on the grass beside him. The young actor was puzzled as he watched Jeongwoo set up his guitar on his lap.

“Hey, what was that for?”

“I prepared a gift for you”

“Gift?”

Jeongwoo smiled as he nodded as his response.

“Please listen well to me, I learned this song for you overnight. I hope it will turn out well”

With that, Jeongwoo started to strum the guitar with his tender hands. Haruto was watching him contently, having this small proud smile while looking at the only love of his life.

“Time's moving so much slower lately..” Jeongwoo sang the first sentence of the song.

“It's like the world's playin' a joke”

Well, it looks like the young actor finally found his another favorite thing aside from his chocolate scented lips.

“Laughing at me for falling foolishly again”
