Chapter 12 : The False Wife

-Why didn't Lucifer get the throne? repeated Lilith, her fork in hand.

This last detail made Lisa's hair stand on end. How could a woman in a kimono eat sushi with a fork? It was a real heresy! Nevertheless, it was her who paid the meal, so she would not make the remark. Nevertheless, the sister of Satan seemed to have taken up residence for some time under her roof. There were more and more people here. Or not, since the king had still not returned from his dimension.

It was Monday night, she had skipped half the day's classes and she didn't care. What she was more worried about was the gossip she would have to deal with the next day. This last term appealed to her more than anything else in the story.

-Because you still haven't consummated, Lilith explained. It's like you, in most of your beliefs, I think. No sex, no bonding, no real marriage. So right now, you're particularly easy prey for all the King's opponents and our family's madman.
