Phoenix POV
I was soaked to the bone, through my rain jacket (That I forgot to charm to repel water), my sweater, my t-shirt, and the tank top I had on under that all. My hair was in messy wet tendrils that where plastered to my face. I had my hood up earlier, trying to stay some what dry, but I had given up on that awhile ago. Rain was pounding on my head and face as me and the rest of the Gryffindors yelled and screamed as Angelina scored on the Hufflpuff Keeper.
The rain and thunder where so loud, the cheers where hard to hear. I could just make out Harry on the field. Twice he was almost hit with a bludger, and three times he was almost hit by another player. Once it was Fred.
I saw Leo next to me, his long hair was wet, and about three shades darker. His black hair was so black, it was practically dark blue. He was yelling louder than anyone else, Ron too. They where leaning against the front rail yelling at the players, Madam Hooch, anyone who was within earshot. e and Hermione where just yelling and cheering with the rest of the Gryiffendors. We left the swearing and the yelling to the boys.
“I call a time out!” I barely heard Oliver shout the words over the rain. I saw Harry almost crash into another player as he flew down. He shouted what I assume is an apology and tried to wipe his glasses and fly at the same time.
“Hermione…What’s that water repelling spell again?” I asked, a plan forming in my mind.
“’Impervius,’ why?” she shouted at me over the rain.
“I have an idea.” I said to her, quickly ducking under the bleachers and transported to where Wood had the players huddled under an umbrella.
“I’ve got no chance with these on,” Harry complained, waving his glasses at Wood. I ran up, and grabbed Harry’s glasses, then tried to find my wand in my various pockets.
“What are you doing?” Harry asked irritably, reaching for his glasses.
“Hush up! I have an idea!” I told him, pulling out my wand, and tried to dry it off a bit before gently tapping the glasses with it, and muttering the spell Hermione told me. I then grabbed Harry’s head, ignoring his mumbled ‘Ow!’ and jammed his glasses back on his face letting him go.
“There, they’ll repel water now,” I said simply. Harry shook his head like a wet dog, making water go on his glasses, but it beaded up and disappeared.
“Phoenix White you are a bloody genius!” Oliver said, happier than when I’d told him I’d slapped Malfoy. “I could-” he paused to grab me around my waist and pick me up to spin me around again. “-Kiss you!” he said again, dropping me back on the ground.
