Phoenix POV
I felt my eyes flutter open, and I sat right up.
I blinked my eyes and I saw I was in the hospital wing. I saw my wrist wrapped lightly in gauze. Madam Pomfrey must have fixed the bone.
“Ah! Miss White,” I heard Dumbledore say. “So sorry, I was just leaving. I hope I didn’t wake you.” He said with a twinkle in his eye as he looked at me over his half-moon spectacles.
“No…No you didn’t,” I mumbled. “Oh, Professor?” I asked quickly, catching him at the door.
“Yes, Miss Black?” he asked.
“Can Leo come in? He worries about me.” I asked him, thinking of how panicked my brother would be.
“I’m sorry my dear, but if Madam Pomfrey was so firm with me only having a quick word with Mr. Potter, it’s highly unlikely she’ll allow your rambunctious brother in,” he chuckled.
I nodded sadly, then something occurred to me.
“Professor, my last name is White,” I reminded him.
“I am aware of that,” he said simply.
“You called me Black, Voldemorte called me that too,” I said, confused.
“Slip of the tongue my dear, slip of the tongue,” he said cryptically. I frowned at this, and looked at Harry, who shrugged.
“I’m a bit mad at you, you know,” he said form his cot next to mine.
“Why? What did I do?” I asked, almost yelling at my best friend.
“You should have gone back with Hermione!” he said back at me in the same tone. I saw a few scratches on his neck, where the thing tried to choke him.
“And left you to get that Stone alone? Ha!” I laughed as he frowned at me.
“You could’ve gotten hurt-Hey!” He yelped as I threw a cup at him. We both glared at one another for a moment before we both burst out laughing.

“WAKE UP LAZY ASSES!” I heard Leo scream. I jumped and landed on the cold stone floor.
“I was so worried about ya sissy,” Leo said at a normal volume, hugging me tightly. “You shoulda gone with ‘Mione,” he said as he pulled Harry up and into a tight hug as well.
“What are you doing here exactly? Madam Pomfrey said we couldn’t leave until tomorrow.” I said as I brushed myself off and got back under my warm covers.
“That was yesterday you twats! I’m here to spring you!” he said happily. “Get dressed! Get up!-No, wait, wrong order. Get up! Get dressed!” he said, running from the room and skidding to a stop at the doors.
“It’s the end of year feast!” he added on before leaving.
I shrugged, and went behind the dressing screen to pull on my uniform. Harry did the same.
“He’s a bit mad, isn’t he?” He chuckled as we walked to the door. I shrugged as I tied my tie.
“Maybe more than a bit,” I sighed as the door was flung open.
“Come on! Come on! You two have people to see! Things to say to them!” he said, slinging an arm over both of our shoulders and dragging us to the Hall. We told him everything that happened on the way.
“Slip of the tongue?” he asked me, I nodded. “Crazy old fool,” he muttered. I swatted his shoulder.
“Shush, be nice,” I said to him as we walked to the Hall.
