Hi Wattpaders!
First things first. When I ask for votes, it's just to reassure myself that people actully reading and likeing what I post. Just because I get the votes I ask for, doesn't mean I'm going to post RIGHT AWAY. Yes, I will post SOONER if I get the votes and comments I ask for, but I don't spend all my time just waiting for the comments and votes to come so I can post right away. It may not seem like it, but I do have somewhat of a life, and other things going on. So please, be nice.
I'm not sure how long these next few chapters are going to be, I'm typing them in Google Docs (which is why there aren't any italics or bold in the actual story, I'll try to put it back in) and it's messing me up!

Phoenix POV
I carefully laid Leo back on the beat up bed and stood back up straight. I sent a nervous look at Harry, who was looking at Hermione and Ron. Ron had one arm around Hermione’s shoulders as she helped him stay standing. Although Harry wasn’t looking at me, he moved closer to me and started to hold his arm out for me to grab. I say started to, because I grabbed it an inch from his side.
Although Snape was trying to suppress his gasps for breath from running, he had a smug look on his face. “You're wondering, perhaps, I knew where you where?”
“Actually I was wondering how you can possibly still fit in your seventh year dress robes,” Trinket said indifferently. Snape sent a harsh glare with his flat black eyes, but my mum only made a slight face at him.
“I was in your office, Lupin. You forgot to take your potion, so I kindly took a goblet full along to you.” He slowed after hearing Trinket scoff. “As.I.Was.Saying.” He continued. “I took a goblet full along, and happened to take notice to a particular map on your desk. Lucky me.”
Trinket snorted again, clapping a hand over her mouth to try and keep her laughter in.
“One glance was all I needed. I saw you run along this passageway, Black.” He hissed, looking at the blonde woman across the room from my father.
“You always were a little snoop.” She spat at him.
“Severus, please-” Lupin started, but cut himself off when Snape brought his wand closer to his face.
“Time and time again, I’ve told the headmaster that he shouldn't have hired two people so prone to helping convicted felons. And now, I have my proof.” Snape said, that hint of triumph showing smugly in his voice, and on his face.
“Three more for Azkaban tonight. Perhaps five, I’m sure the ministry will be interested to hear from children of a murderer.” Snape drawled out slowly, glancing at me and the unconscious Leo before looking at our parents. Trinket looked like she was ready to kill Snape. Her fists were at her sides, a bright pink glowed through her fingers, like what happened with Leo sometimes.
I looked at Black, who looked...well, he looked dead. His eyes lost that maniac shine-No, that’s not the word. It wasn’t a maniac shine, just a shine in general. His face fell, and he looked hopeless. It was like the very thought of me and Leo in Azkaban made him lose all...all the will he had for anything. I’d tried to hate him, and Trinket, like Leo did, but I couldn’t. Part of me told me I should hate them. They left us for selfish reasons, and waltzed, or escaped, back into our lives wanting to know about us, to learn what they’d missed.
It was like someone took my dreams of a perfect family and did the sick action of twisting them around, turning them in on each other, changing facts and replaced all the love with fear.
