Hello people!

Well, here's the next chapter, since you got the comments and votes I asked for! I always try to post as soon as I can after I get the votes and stuff! It may take a bit longer next time, I had this already written.

Most of my chapters are un-edited, this one is, and it's also a bit rushed, so don't be to hard on me!

I've noticed that most comments are either pro Draco/Phoenix, or pro Harry/Phoenix. **SPOILER ALERT! Phoenix will not finish out my little series with Max! Anyways, I'm not sure who I want her to be with yet, so nows your time to make your case!

Why should Phoenix be with Harry and not Draco?

OR

Why should Phoenix be with Draco and not Harry?

Well, that's your question for this chapter!

Oh! And I'm asking for an absolute minimum of 20 votes, and 15 comments! I know, I'm evil. ;)

Phoenix POV

I started to run up the steps, my long bangs falling in my eyes making it hard to see. I yelped as I crashed into someone, falling back onto the small platform on the staircase.

“Watch where you’re going Mud-Blood,” I heard a voice hiss at me. I snapped my gaze up to Draco Malfoy, who was fixing his black cloak over his shoulders with an over confident smirk on his face.

“You’re the one who ran into me,” I mumbled, getting up and brushing off my blue-jeans and the cuffs of the sweatshirt I had on, it was the one Harry had given me when we where on the Knight Bus. It was a bit big, and long in the sleeves, given Harry was about half-a-head taller than me, but I was able to fit a warm jumper under it.

“What did you say?” Malfoy asked coldly, his gray eyes shot me a look that I think he thought was menacing. I blinked at him, deciding quickly if I would stay silent, or finally stand up for myself.

“I said, you’re the one who ran into me,” I repeater myself simply, trying to not let on how my heart was hammering in fear. It didn’t matter what I’d done involving Harry, his broom and Max, Draco Malfoy had taken every chance to make my life hell over the last two years.

“Watch your mouth Mud-Blood,” he hissed, angling his head down and trying to look through his pale eyelashes, I almost laughed. Leo did that, the angle he had his face at would let his hair fall down to cover the top of his face and slight obscure his eyes, and then all you’d really notice where the piercing sapphire irises looking up at you through thick black lashes. Draco, with his slicked back hair, and his eyelashes so pale you almost couldn’t see them, just looked silly.

“Draco,” I sighed, a small, content smile on my face as I looked up at him. “Today I broke about twenty school rules, more than one hundred personal ones, and I still have an attractive blonde boy who likes me. Nothing you can do will make me cry, scowl, or hurt today, or anymore for that matter.” I said simply as I widened my smile a bit and walked around him.

I hadn’t felt this happy in a long time. It felt nice.
