Hey there!

Ok, first thing; I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T POST ON THE 15TH! I got really busy with some personal/family stuff and it just had to wait.

Also, this chapter is REALLy short, and for lack of a better word, fluff-ish. It's just that if I keep going with this chapter it'll end up being, like, 12 pages long. So, this is SUPER short.

SORRY! DON'T HATE ME!

I keep asking this in my authers notes, but, I'm asking again and I still want to know.

My next story should be a... A) Sherlock FanFiction B) Doctor Who FanFiction or C) My attempt at an original story.

Wow...reading that makes me feel like I have no life...Oh well. :P

Since this is short, 30 votes, 20 comments please!

Phoenix POV

My...My mum  showed one of her own Praesido abilities after Leo passed out. With a small wave of her hand, Leo’s heavy body (too heavy for me and  Harry to lift) into the bed. Ron looked in shock as she did this with just a wave of her hand, and gripped the bedpost with his hand that wasn’t gripping ‘Scabbers.’

I tugged his sweatshirt off his arms to cool him off. And I had to say, it was pretty gross. It was practically wet. When Harry asked me what I was doing, I mumbled about how Leo was very temperature sensitive. Harry mumbled how that explained his odd behavior in the tunnel to Hogsmead, and the several times he’s passed out in Trelawney’s stuffy classroom. I was standing beside Leo, still unconscious, and behind Harry slightly (whose arm I was gripping tightly).

“If you’re going to tell the story then get a move on Remus.” Black snapped. “I’ve waited twelve years Remus-twelve years- and I don’t intend on waiting much longer.”

“God...I almost forgot how annoyingly pushy and impatient you can be, Sirius,” Trinket sighed as she sunk into one of the chairs that was only slightly rotten.

I was half listening to Lupin as he told us about his early school life being a...Well, what he was. But most of my attention was on Trinket, resting her chin in her hand, elbow braced on the arm of the chair she was in. She glanced at me, seeing I was staring.

She gave me a small smile, but her eyes were sad.

I looked away, down at the wands Leo had dropped. I tossed his in his lap, and carefully picked up the worn ash wand and held it out to my mother, grip first. Her smile grew slightly as she took her wand, pointing it towards the ceiling and turning her wrist a few times, getting that...That indescribable feeling back. The feeling when you hold your wand and you can feel how much power you hold. It’s almost scary, but it’s the best feeling in the world.

“Thanks.” She said, a hint of a grin on her face. It was just tugging on one side of her mouth.

“Your welcome.” I said quietly, looking away. I saw Harry’s eyes flickering to me.
