Hey there!

Sorry it took me so long to update. If you've been following these little author snip-its I've been putting at the beginning of the chapters, you'll know I moved, again. So, that's why it took me so long to post again. I'm not abandoning the story. :)

Think I'm gonna go with a Supernatural fanfic next...Thoughts?

Speaking of Supernatural, anyone know where to get season 8? Buying it is my last resort, but I want to know if anyone knows any other ways to watch it, 'cause I got 57 days until season 9 starts. And yes, I got the countdown app on my phone. :)

Phoenix POV

Ew... I thought as I knelt behind the large pumpkins with Harry and Hermione. I was still trying to wrap my head around the idea of...Well...time travel by necklace. I'd have to think about that later, because Harry was trying to get Buckbeak to move. He'd already unhooked the chain that tethered the large animal to a post, but no matter how much Harry tugged and coaxed, Buckbeak wouldn't move.

"C'mon..." Harry hissed quietly once more, giving the heavy chain another good tug.

Harry, dear boy, I must say I am impressed that you are going to such lengths to save me, but a higher authority has condemned me, and I must honor that ruling. Buckbeak's inner voice finally spoke. It wasn' t the normal regal tone he usually carried, this one was heavy and sad.

"We're trying to help you! Come on," Harry hissed again, giving the chain a particularly hard tug.

I know that! Buckbeak snapped, cawing slightly. Humans don't have the sense of honor we do! We are like soldiers, like knights, Harry! If a higher authority makes a decision about us, we take it with a high head and primed feathers! We do what we are told to do!

"We know that," I blurted, making Buckbeak turn his head towards me. He hadn't noticed me. "Buckbeak we know that, now, we where given orders by Dumbledore. We don't have a choice and neither do you." I said, quickly walking towards Harry and ducking behind the large rock like he was.

Dumbledore...I owe that man my life. Saved, my sisters, brothers, and me as mere fledglings in a time and place we where slaughtered with common cattle. I respect your loyalty to the man, but that does not change my decision. Buckbeak said, his inner voice was sadder than it was.

"Is-Is he speaking to you?" Harry whispered to me. Buckbeak made the comment that it was rude of him, and I gave him a sharp smack on the shoulder. In that moment, I heard something Buckbeak didn't want me to hear. I only regret not being able to say goodbye to Copperhead.

"If you come with us you can say good bye," I said softly. He looked up at me, his amber eyes burning. I guess he didn't mean for me to hear that.

...Imagine what the others would think of me, think of her. I am a condemned creature, fleeing would be the cowards way. Fleeing to mearly bid farewell to a female is

"A lovely thing to do," I cut him off, making him look at me again, and made a small warbling sound, like a baby bird. "I know she'd love to see you Buckbeak. The others too, they're all wondering what happened to you. They won't think any less of you, you know. They'll think you're brave and noble, rebelling and standing up to a sentence you don't deserve." I said calmly, hiding my nervousness well. My eyes darted to Hagrid's hut, where we could see Hagrid, Dumbledore, Fudge and the executioner threw the window, going threw the form Fudge had with him.
