There was nothing in this world that Laur hated more than cleaning. Luckily for her, her friend usually didn't mind picking up the slack. Or more like, didn't complain about picking up the slack. But ever since her conversation with Calum, Laur has given her the cold shoulder. And she wasn't about to break that just because she didn't feel like doing chores. So here she was, on a saturday morning, cleaning the kitchen. It really wasn't that bad if she was honest with herself. Not that she would ever admit to anyone else, but with the right playlist and a good amount of spite, it could even be fun. She was completely lost in her playlist and her thoughts when she was suddenly interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat. Laur looked up from the counter she was cleaning to see Shay leaning against the doorframe. She simply rolled her eyes and refocused on cleaning the kitchen.

"Any reason as to why you act like I kicked your dog?" Shay questioned, walking into the kitchen and opening the fridge. Laur halted her movements and turned back around to face her with a hateful look on her face. Shay's view was being blocked by the door, so she had no idea that her friend was truly upset with her over something. She honestly didn't understand. Laur and Michael had been giving her the cold shoulder for days and she couldn't figure out what she'd done to upset them. But she would be lying if she said that she wasn't mad at them, especially at Mike, who knew how upset she was.

"Are you seriously gonna act like you don't know what you did?" Laur spat, causing Shay to close the fridge to get a good look at her.

"Laur, I've had a shit week and I really don't have the energy to read your fucking mind right now." She sighed. "Either you tell me what crawled up your ass or you just get over it."

Laur narrowed her eyes at her. The way she seemed so unbothered about the fact that she led Calum on rubbed her the wrong way. "Fine. How about you explain to me why you led Cal on for months if you never even saw a future with him. Do you even realize how fucked that is? He-" Laur was cut off by Shay scoffing.

"I led him on? Where did you even get that from?" She questioned, with a bite in her tone.

"He told me all about your little conversation." Laur shot back, straightening herself as if she had the moral high ground.

"Oh my god. That's why you and Mike haven't spoken to me." She said in realization. She sounded hurt, but the anger was still in control of her actions. "You know what Laur. I thought we were actual friends. But apparently you will always choose a fucking man over me."

Laur scoffed at her. "Don't change the fucking subject. You know what you did was a shit move." She yelled.

"You don't know shit about the situation, Laur. For your information, Cal and I broke up because we had a different view of what our future would look like. Just because I don't know if I wanna get married and have a wedding does not mean I don't love him or don't see a future with him. And maybe if you weren't such a shitty fucking friend you would've known that." She answered in return. Before turning around and leaving Laur alone in the kitchen to contemplate her decisions. She stood there stunned for a few moments before slowly turning back around. The act of cleaning seemed a lot less soothing all of a sudden.
