Pool Parties and Problems

"Sleep well?" Michael asked, wrapping his arms around Laur who was standing at the kitchen counter making food to take outside.

"Yes I did." Laur said, turning to face him and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"What did you two talk about?" He asked her.

"He just apologized, we talked for a while, and then we watched a movie." She replied.

"Is he still asleep?" Mike questioned.

"Yeah, I'm gonna go wake him up and invite him to hangout with us by the pool. If that's okay with everyone else." She answered almost sounding unsure.

"Yeah go ahead. It will be fun." Michael responded, smiling at her.

"Okay I'll be back." She said, pecking his lips and walking to his room. When she walked in, Luke was still asleep.

"Luke, wake up." She said tapping his shoulder.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry. Did I fall asleep?" Luke asked in a panicked tone.

"Yeah but it's okay." Laur giggled. "We're all gonna hangout by the pool today, if you want to join us."

"I'd love to." He replied, smiling softly. His smile quickly dropped, however. He looked away from Lauren and down at his hands, which were playing with the bottom of the shirt he was wearing.

Laur noticed how his behavior switched. "What's wrong? If you don't want to hang out with us it's fine." She asked whilst sitting down next to Luke on the bed.

Luke stayed quiet for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts. "It's just with the whole argument we had and me being a complete dick lately, I don't want to step on anyone's toes." He said quietly.

"Oh please, it's water under the bridge Luke. And if anyone gives you shit just tell me." Laur responded confidently, throwing an arm around him and pulling him close.

A laugh rose out of Luke. "Yeah, yeah okay. I'll come." He said whilst smiling at Laur.

"Good. Hurry up and get ready then, cause I will not forgive you for being late." She said whilst walking towards her closet and grabbing a bathing suit.

"Yes ma'am." He responded, saluting her as he walked out of the room.

Luke anxiously walked out into the backyard after changing, everybody was distracted when he came out. A couple people were already in the pool, whilst others were tanning. There was music playing loudly over the speaker. Luke stands awkwardly at the end of the pool, feeling slightly out of place. Ashton finally noticed him standing at the side and waved him over. Luke hesitated for a moment before joining the group.

"Hey guys." Luke said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Are you still being a dick?" Shay greeted him.

Luke chuckled, "I'm trying not to be."

"In that case, I'm sorry for almost punching you in the face." She responded, squinting against the sun.

"That was surprisingly easy." Luke replied with a surprised look on his face.

Shay shrugged, "You already made up with Laur. If she's okay with you, then I'm okay with you. Now stop standing there like a weirdo and get into the pool."

Before Luke even had a chance to get into the pool he was suddenly attacked from behind. Luke let out a loud scream as Calum jumped on his back and they both fell into the pool. Luke tries to come up for air, but Calum jumps on top of him again. A fight breaks out between the two, no one knowing if they are actually upset or not.
