Moving Along

"Wake up mother fucker, we have a song to write." Cal yelled, jumping onto Laur who was sound asleep.

"We do?" Laur questioned, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"Yes, I have been up all night brainstorming." He replied, handing her a cup of coffee.

"Okay, let me change real quick and we can go into the studio." She said placing the coffee on her bedside table and standing up.

"No time to change, you look fine." He spoke, patting her head like she was a dog.

"Cal I'm in pajamas." She responded, pointing at her outfit.

"Oh please, that's what you wear to walmart. We are literally going down the hall." He said, chuckling at the girl.

"Fine, let's go I suppose." She sighed, as she led him out of the room. The pair walked down the hallway until they reached the studio room and Cal quickly ran in and grabbed a guitar off the stand.

"What did you have in mind?" Laur asked, flopping onto one of the beanbag chairs and grabbing a blanket.

"Okay so I want to write about Shay." Cal said with a sad smile. "I want her to know that I miss her."

"So you could start with something like 'thinking about you a lot' or along those lines." Laur said, as Cal played a melody on the guitar.

"I came up with some stuff last night and the lyrics that I came up with that I like the most are 'I know I'm the stupid one who ended it, now I'm the stupid one regretting it'. Do you think we can work with that somewhere in the song?" Cal asked.

"I really like that. We can definitely throw that in somewhere." Laur said, smiling at him.

"We're gonna be in here for a while, maybe we should order food." Cal stated looking at his phone trying to find somewhere to order from.

"Works for me, I'll eat whatever you want." Laur replied, relaxing back in the chair and brainstorming more ideas.

Michael was lying in Laur's bed watching Dragon Ball Z when he heard the door open.

"When did you get here?" Laur asked with a smile on her face as she laid down next to her boyfriend.

"I got here a few hours ago but Cal told me that he was coming over to work on a song with you so I didn't want to disturb you guys." He replied, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close to him.

"I'm sorry that I kept you waiting for so long, if I had known you were here I wouldn't have stayed in the studio for so long. You should've texted me, I feel terrible." She said feeling guilty.

"Don't apologize, I didn't text you because I didn't want you to stop working just because I was here." He responded, kissing the top of her head.
"Well, I'm free the rest of the day so we can lay around and watch our show." She said, smiling up at him.

"Oh, it's our show now? I thought you hated it?" He questioned with a smug look on his face.

"I changed my mind. Now hush, Vegito is about to fight Buu." She said, turning her attention towards the TV. Michael just laughed at her comment and rested his chin on her head, turning his attention back to the show.
