"HE ASKED YOU TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND????" Michael yelled, shooting up from his chair.

"Yes Mikey. Now shut the fuck up." Shay said, punching his arm.

"Ow." He said, rubbing his arm. "I'm happy you guys are together."

"Yeah, so am I." She said, smiling softly.

Michael chuckled at her response, "Look at you going soft." He teased.

She rolled her eyes, not dignifying him with a response. But secretly she was pleased with his response. After all the drama that had unfolded between her and Calum, she was skeptical of how people would respond to the two of them making up.

"You know he really cares about you, right?" Michael said when he noticed that she wasn't responding. He was worried about how she seemed to keep everything in and sometimes had a hard time reading her.

"Yeah, I know," She replied, "How about we stop distracting ourselves and finally work on this song, though?"

Michael frowned, not liking how she immediately shot the conversation down, but knew that he shouldn't push her any further.

"Sure. What were you thinking in terms of the bridge?"

"She said yes." Calum said with a big smile on his face whilst plopping himself onto the bed next to Laur.

"She said yes to what?" She asked with a frown on her face. Last thing she knew, Calum and Shay weren't even on speaking terms. So she was confused on what she would possibly have agreed to.

"Shay." Calum started, "Said yes. To being in a relationship."

Laur shot up from the bed, "You asked her?" She asked incredulously.

Calum nodded at her, with the same smile on his face. "And she said yes." He replied in a sing-song voice.

"Cal, that's amazing." She gushed. "Can't believe she forgave your sorry ass that quickly."

"You forgave me? Even quicker might I add." He shot back, with a frown on his face.

"Yeah but I can't stay mad at you. Shay, however, can and will hold a grudge." She replied.

"Well, she didn't. Lucky for me, because I would not have known what to do if she rejected me." He sighed, a soft smile playing on his face.

"Cry, probably." She teased.

"As if you wouldn't bawl your eyes out if Mike rejected you." He scoffed.

"Yeah, well. I'd have to ask in order for that to happen." Laur shrugged.

Calum sat up with a confused look on his face, "Are you telling me he hasn't asked you to be exclusive yet?" He asked.

"Nope." She sighed. She pretended to be unbothered by the entire situation, but Calum could tell that she was slightly upset over it.

"I'm sure he will. He is head over heels for you." He attempted to reassure her.

"It's whatever. We're good right now. So as long as he doesn't start shit with anyone else, I don't care." She replied.

"He definitely wouldn't. And if he even thinks about it I will beat him up for you." He promised.

"You wouldn't have to. If he ever pulls that shit I will end him myself." She stated, "I'm not going through that again."

"Again?" He questioned.

"Yeah, my ex cheated on me over and over but I still kept going back to him because I was hopelessly in love." She replied, tearing up.
