Zak's POV

~chirping of birds~

*yawn* naalimpungatan ako dahil sa huni ng ibon. Kailan ba ako nagkaroon ng alarm na tunog ibon?

Dinilat ko ang mga mata pero agad na napapikit ulit dahil sa sinag ng araw na tumatama sa akin. Aish! Nasa tree-house nga pala ako binabantayan si Munchkin ang baby at si Fa--

Nilibot ko ang paningin ko pero walang bakas maski anino man lang ni Fara. Nandito parin si Munchkin pero wala din ang baby.

Naaalala ko pa kagabi pinangalan niyang Ice ang sanggol. Sana lang hindi kasing yelo ng una kong nakilalang Fara ang bata na 'yun. So far, she is dwelling nice to me. Not enough nicer than how she treated her friends.

Bumaba ako ng tree-house to see if she's there.

"Zak" tawag sa'kin ni Luke

"Have you seen Fara?" tanong ng kambal niya

Umiling ako at nagsabing "I just woke up then she's not around" I said

"Tss tulog mantika!" komento sa'kim ni Drake. Wow just wow! Who is he by the way? Tsk! 'magpigil ka Zak! Magpigil ka' suway ko sa sarili ko. "She went to see Spot" sabi niya sa lahat. Spot? Sino yun?

"How did you know?" tanong ni Zero. Panay english ang isang 'to eh noh?

"I came here by dawn checking on her. She said she'll get spot then she went there with the baby. She said she'll bring the baby to the officials to search for the baby's mother" wika niya. Diba sabi ni Fara na kukupkupin niya ang bata? Nagbago ba ang isip niya? Maybe. She doesn't look fully decided last night.

"She left words for us" -Drake

"Ano?" tanong ko

"She wants us to leave. She'll stay here in Cebu alone. No buts. We'll go now." sabi niya. Walang umangal sa kanila pero ako umangal ako. Sabi nila better to take her words or else-- di nila tinapos ang sasabihin nila. Siya narin daw ang bahala kay Munchkin. Baka daw dadalhin niya ito patungong Manila but she's still thinking a way how. I wanted to help sana pero sabi nila Fara and the helpers can do it.

In the end here I am, back again in our shitty mansion. TBH Fara's mansion is double bigger than ours. She is like a puzzle to me, very mysterious but you know she is just simple. I wanted to know more about her. Who she really is but its hard. Luke said, she don't let just an anybody enters her life. She's broken from inside I can see it through her eyes. Its rarely you can see how bright her purple eyes was. You just can't see it fron afar but try to get close and you'll see what you rarely see. Purely black odd eyes is covering the wonderful color of it.

Some situations really turn someone into a somebody you least except them to be.

My body aches because it was my first time to sleep on a wooden surface. I threw myself in my bed and let dreamland takes its place. Amputek ang bading ko! Nakasanayan na kasi yan lagi sabi ni mama, dreamland.
