Blessed New Week, lovely readers😊 A love-triangle battle is brewing. Can you feel it?😂

======

Christmas and New Year finally came and Sonia had called David to help her dig into Michael's family.

"Is that all?" David asked.

"Yes. Use your influence, David. I want every single bit of information you can get, both good and bad. Medical reports and the like."

"Why do you want to know all this Sonia?" David asked over the phone.

"I just want to know what I am getting myself into."

"Sonia, God knows everyone inside-out. He alone can tell you what no investigator could ever find out."

"I know but please help me." Sonia said and thanked him. The conversation ended and Sonia knew that her life was about to get even more interesting.

====

Hours later, the Moses' family were relaxing in their small living room watching television. Sonia noticed that both parents kept stealing glances at her. Her mother also noticed it and knew his sister was in trouble. Finally, her father broke the silence.

"Sonia, we want to have a special talk with you."

"Yes Papa."

"This past month, two young men came to your Mother and I to ask for our permission to court you." This was news to Sonia. She felt flattered but became curious at the same time.

"We told them both to pray about it since they are both Christians."

My life has become a Nollywood movie!

"One of them," Her father added, "was David."

"David? Which David?" Sonia asked.

"David Ifedapo." Her mother replied.

"My David!" Sonia exclaimed in shock.

"What? Why? I don't understand. He never said anything." Sonia wanted to cry. She had suspected it but deep down never wanted to believe it.

"You were too blind to see it coming." Her mother thought with a roll of her eyes.

"The other young man was Michael Rogers. We have been praying about it and will encourage you to do same." Her father said and stood up. He walked up to her and held her hands, "Sonia, God's time and will are inseparable. Hold unto that."

"Thank you Papa." She smiled at him.

After her father left for his room, she turned to her mother,

"Why didn't he tell me? How cowardly!"

"I think you are wrong. He is very respectful, so respectful that he came to us first and asked us to pray about it. Young men like that are rare to find this days."

"Mum, he came to you because he knows you. How many relationships happen this way?"

"So, what have you found out? What is God telling you?"

"Our lips are sealed. Carry out your own research."

Her younger brother busted into laughter.

"Ehn, so what are you laughing at?"

"The thought of two guys falling for my sister at the same time is just so hilarious."

"Just look at the person talking. In few years, it will be you sweating at some girl's family house, asking for her parent's permission to marry their daughter."
