Sonia got home and crashed into a deep sleep after taking some sleeping medications. She woke up very late the next morning and called in sick for work. The shock of the news of her son being alive crashed her mind and body. She remained in her bedroom and nobody could get her to eat with the rest of the family. She spent her conscious moments shedding tears. Dr. Martins had confessed that in order to keep JR out of harm's way: his evil mother, he collected the baby and took him to another hospital to be taken care of. She only wrote the death certificate and did not know what happened after the orphanage settlement.

"My son is alive. JR is alive." She whispered aloud as she woke up again in the evening.

It was Michael who sent Dr. Martins abroad to protect her and keep her from being detected. Sonia had apologized for her unruly behavior, and the family understood and promised to chastise their daughter for not speaking the truth when asked.

"Michael. Should I hate you or love you for what you did? We were to move to Ghana with JR? Oh God! Why didn't you preserve Michael to enjoy his family? Lord, why?"

It was a bitter-sweet moment for her and she promised herself to get herself together for the new chapter and second chance God has given her to become a mother.

Sonia finally opened the door of her room to Dr. Gavin late in the evening. They hugged, but Sonia could only cry for several minutes, before she could find her voice.

"I can't tell you what I discovered. It's just too much for me."

"My dear, that's why you need a psychologist. You cannot keep bottling all these things inside." Dr. Gavin advised.

"I can handle it. I have a lot of things to take care of. I want to get well so can go back to the office."

The older woman sighed, "I understand. But please call me anytime you need anything."

Sonia agreed and bid her goodbye.

After Dr. Gavin left, Sonia picked up Michael's photo frame by her bedside and embraced it tightly on her chest, and sobbed.

"This was the surprise you wanted to show me when we came back from Ghana. I love you so much Michael. Continue to rest well in God. Thank you very much for what you've done for me."

Thereafter, she made an appointment with her former therapist so that she could start working on her mental health. She cooked supper and was cheerful for the rest of the night. This was unfortunately a cause to worry for the rest of her family.

"Sonia is complicated. One time she is cold, and the other hot. She is sad, then she is happy." Mr. Moses said with concern.

"But I am just glad she's going for therapy, and with prayers and deep study of God's word about her, nothing is impossible." Her mother responded.

Sonia cleared her throat.

"I'm right here with you and you are discussing about me as if I'm not." She said with feigned annoyance.

"Tell us, why are you suddenly so happy? Is it that Shawn guy?" Kunle asked inquisitively.

Sonia laughed, "My dear brother, marriage is not a woman's greatest achievement. I can be all God wants me to be without a man okay."

"Two shall chase 10,000..." Kunle added with a smile.

"Whatever! The right "two" by the way." She replied hotly.
