Mr. Moses and Tunde sustained minor injuries, and their necks held by neck braces too. Mrs. Moses was relieved, buts he was also worried. The attack on her husband meant that someone was trying to get rid of Sonia. Two Policemen stood outside guarding the men's room. Mrs. Moses knew that there could be two major culprits: Mrs. Rogers or Benjamin Owolafe.
"God, Sonia brought this upon herself." Mrs. Moses thought sadly. "She came out of that marriage barely alive: no husband and no children. Oh God, please protect Sonia and all of us."
It was just too obvious who sent the men, and all hell broke loose inside Sonia's head. She drove inside the Rogers' mansion angrily, stormed out of the car and entered the main house. The three Rogers were having supper at the dining table. She walked towards them and clapped to get their attention.
"Sorry to crash your little party, Rogers." She said in a surprisingly calm voice.
"Get out!" Mrs. Rogers shouted.
"You are eating Julianna, be careful, you might choke." Sonia said with feigned concern.
"What is going on here?" Mr. Rogers asked.
"The only mistake I made was having you as a mother-in-law! Leave my family alone, Julianna!"
Mr. Rogers got up and walked towards Sonia.
"After all we did for you; that I have done for you Sonia, you should not treat us in this manner. How dare you treat us with so much disrespect" He said furiously.
Sonia came prepared for them all.
"Save it Mr. Rogers! Save your sermon for the choir! Your evil wife sent men to kill my father! I dare her to deny it!"
"My wife is not responsible for that."
"You obviously have no idea the kind of person you married. Your wife is a manipulating and conniving snake! I came to tell you to stay off my life, else you will pay far more than you bargained for." Sonia said her piece and turned to leave.
"You burnt down my store!" Mrs. Rogers accused her.
"I did no such thing! Why would I burn it down when I could own it? One by one, Julianna Rogers, your evil deeds will catch up with you. Thunder, fire and brimstone are about to fall upon you all if you don't back off!" Sonia warned.
"Stop it, both of you!" Mr. Rogers shouted. The eternal peacemaker.
"Nothing bad should happen to any member of my household, Mr. Rogers, otherwise, you will all beg for death and death will elude you. You will cry for mercy and mercy will be far from you! Don't dare me!"
"Sonia..." Margaret began to say.
"No! Don't interfere Maggie." Sonia had had enough. "Is it a crime for two people to fall in love and marry each other? Where is it written that the rich can't marry the poor and vice versa? Was it wrong for your son to marry whomever he wished? Stay away, Julianna, you insecure and evil old fool!" With that, Sonia took her leave.
"It was only a matter of time before the rest of Julianna's secrets come out in the open, and then we shall see who will be left out in the cold!"

Sonia's next stop was the prison where Jakes Olumide was kept. She was done playing games and being merciful. The attempt on her father's life woke something up in her that requires her to do everything in her power to stop her enemies before they could stop her. Jakes Olumide knew the latest news about the Rogers from the Newspapers the guards read, and he was secretly getting worried about Sonia's threats.
