The sky was dark and the sin still blazing red. The woods looked unwelcoming and creepy. Julianna ran in circles, and then realises that she was lost.
"Margaret! Jerry!" She called out, but no answer came. Fear gripped her heart at being alone and also that something bad might have happened to them. She could hear the distinct cries of animals around her. Suddenly, she heard someone screaming so loudly, but
"Why? Why? Why?" She recognized her son's voice.
"Michael?"
Mrs. Rogers woke up with a start. Her mind was surely playing tricks on her. She looked around the bedroom and was relieved to find her husband sound asleep beside her.
"I must do something about Sonia and fast, before she breaks my marriage and ends my life."
In the morning, a letter arrived for Mr. Rogers. He collected it from his driver and kept it inside his briefcase. He joined his wife and daughter at the dining table for breakfast.
Margaret was just playing with her food and this disheartened her father and provoked her mother to anger.
"If you don't want to eat, you can leave."
Margaret dropped her fork noisily.
"Where is the mechanic?" She asked flatly.
Her parents exchanged a confused look.
"The mechanic that fixed Sonia's car. The guy disappeared off the face of the earth. It's been two years since his murder and no one is talking about it."
Mr. Rogers finally regained his composure. "Why do you like to know?"
"I want justice for my brother! I want justice for Mum losing her store!"
Mrs. Rogers sighed and said, "God will fight for us."
"We wouldn't be in this mess if not for Sonia. I miss my son and now I feel like I'm losing everything else that is dear to me." She busted into tears and began to cry. Her husband got up and came round to comfort her. For the first time in a long time, she felt some form of peace, knowing she still have them wrapped around her finger.

"Get your team on it right away. We must pitch for that contract and win!" Sonia said to the manager at the other end of the phone. She took a deep breath as the thought of Michael filled her mind. Since the date with Shawn, memories of Michael that she had buried came back with vengeance. So she would spend her days working hard to keep the thoughts at bay, and her night time, crying herself to sleep. A tear strayed off her face, and she quickly wiped it off as a knock interrupted her thoughts.
Stella walked in, looking a bit disturbed.
"What's wrong?" Sonia asked softly.
"You have a visitor; your sister- in-law."
Sonia raised an eyebrow and replied, "Let her in."
"Yes Madam,"
Margaret walked in looking sleep deprived but pretty all the same.
"To what do I owe this special visit Ms. Rogers?" Sonia asked kindly.
Margaret sat across her and looked at her without saying a word. It was as if she was studying Sonia.
"This staring competition is interesting, but I have a lot on my table, so how may I help you?"
"Why did you kill my brother?" Margaret dropped her question with a serious face.
