The hazel eyed girl rolled her eyes playfully.
"Oh shut it, Munson. Not everything is about you." She said as she went over to the kids.
Dustin ran, meeting her halfway and grabbed her by the shoulders. "Ruby! We won! We won!" He then hugged her. He was so happy, god bless him.
"It was awesome, Rubes. You should've seen it!" Mike came over with Erica, before Dustin pulled away so they can hug her as well.
"You should have seen Lucas, too. He was amazing. They won because of him, he scored the winning basket." She said proudly before turning to look at Erica.
"Hey, Petite America. I'm sure you had something to do with them winning. No way all this testosterone could do it by itself." She said as she hugged the sassy little girl.
"You already know, girl." Erica answered.
"I knew you'd be a great sub, Lady Applejack." Ruby smiled at the young Sinclair girl.
"Wait, how do you know her D&D name?" Eddie asked, curious.
"How do you think I got to the level I'm at today? I played most of the time with Ruby." Erica sounded proud of that bit.
"You don't say." Eddie put a hand on Erica's shoulder and smiled at the girl. "Full of surprises, aren't you, princess?" He already knew she played, but he didn't know with who and what level she was on.
"You can say that." She smiled back at him. "We should probably motor, no? It's getting late and I promised Max I'll be at hers at a relatively normal hour."
"Oh, yeah totally. Um, we just have to wait for..." he whispered softly to the brunette his next word "...Chrissy."
"I'm confused." She whispered back.
"Yeah, she needed something a bit stronger than regular marijuana, so I told her I keep that in my trailer, she said she'd come over after the game, so that's what's happening." Eddie explained as if it was a normal thing, selling drugs to her best friend. But it was Chrissy's business and she didn't want to butt into it too much.
"Ok, I understand. I'll just go say goodbye to my friend and meet you at the parking lot." The girl said to the long haired boy before turning to speak to the kids.
"Mike? Dustin? Erica?" They looked at her. "You guys have a way to get home? I don't want you biking alone at this hour." Her tone was motherly. Steve was rubbing off on her, and she kind of liked it. It was like a piece of him was a part of her now.
"My mom's picking us up, Rubes, don't worry." Dustin reassured her.
"Okay, so I'm gonna go back. I'm glad you had fun. And congratulations for winning against Vecna, that's super impressive. Anyway, bye, little legends." She said before running back to Steve.
