"thanks for meeting with me at such short notice" I smiled at my little fox friend. He's around thirteen now which makes me feel super old. Man time sure does fly!
"oh it's no problem. Anything for my future godchild" he smiled back. That's right we agreed on having tails as the godfather and wave as the godmother. I'm bet he's going to be awesome in that role.
"so what is it that you're looking for anyway?" he asked as he scanned around the store.
"umm kinda everything" I scratched my cheek awkwardly.
"what!" tails yelped "sonic please don't tell me you left your baby's shopping till last minute!"
"I had alot on my mind" I muttered, fishing for an excuse that might make him stop looking at me like that!
He shook his head "god love your poor child"
"it's not even born yet and you're already feeling sorry for it" I hung my head. This is a new low for me!
Tails sighed "Well let's get get started shall we? There's no time to waste!"
"right" I nodded "let's hope to it kid!"
*time skip*
"and that's everything" I sighed as I shoved everything into the back of the car. Yeah I own a car now. If that's not proof that I'm a dad now I don't know what is! "thanks for your help tails"
"no problem" he nodded before flying off.
I was about to get in the car when I suddenly got a call from wave.
I picked up the phone "hello"
"where are you idiot" I heard panicky voice over the phone "the baby's coming get to the hospital now!"
