Its the summer of 1985. School's out, the weathers heating up, and Hawkins just opened the brand new Starcourt Mall.
18 year old Gwen, along with her boyfriend Steve, gets a summer job at the mall to save up for whatever life has in store for them next.
After months of radio silence from the Upside Down, Gwen thought that just maybe everything would be back to normal. No more worries about demo-dogs or missing kids, just time to actually enjoy life and become an adult.
